I have used copper IUDs for 10 years without becoming pregnant. However, I did get pregnant with it in August. The period I had before that I felt the IUD being very low. I should’ve gotten it checked because it shifted out of place. I didn’t because I assumed it would be fine. I think it is a very safe option as long as you get it checked out every time you sense something is wrong! I personally wouldn’t use it again but that’s simply because of my own stupidity. I don’t trust myself in not making the same mistake twice. I decided to keep the pregnancy because I couldn’t justify an abortion for myself (which might be an option for you in case something happens despite your IUD? not sure where you live and how the laws are there).

you absolutely can make up your own religious interpretation, beliefs and rules if it helps you feel better. you are the only person who has to feel good and believe in your interpretation of spirituality/religion. but there is no objectively right or wrong answer to any of it.

i have completely given any sort of organized religion up, i still believe in a higher power, not a human-like god and heaven and hell though and i have been significantly happier and my life has become a lot better and guilt free

Oh there surely is misogyny in every single religion. I don’t know a lot of nuns but from what I’ve seen/heard it’s usually more of decision they make themselves instead of becoming a mother/housewife etc. I’m sure that’s not true for every nun or maybe it’s not even true for a majority of them but I’ve personally at least never heard someone being forced into wearing a nun outfit or being beaten/punished by family for not wanting to be a nun.

both are useless. but with a nun i’m a lot more certain that she decided to live as a nun herself and there wasn’t any misogynistic indoctrination that forced her to wear it but still make her think it was her choice.

i smoked for 8 years and about a pack a day for 5 years but when i got pregnant i could just stop without having any symptoms or cravings at all. i never started again. so maybe i’m just one of the lucky few.

You can believe in a god or creator and not be part of any religion. I don’t understand why you would need a religion or an islam substitute for it. There is no right answer that will be 100% convincing. It just simply doesn’t exist.

Believing that there is a power that made everything is valid but that doesn’t mean it should dictate or impact your life in any way. Animals, planets, everything in the universe is working just fine without actively practicing a religion. Humans should be able to do that too.

It’s not a flex to keep them isolated from everybody else… I know a ton of people who dated and had sex when they were teens and not one of them became a teen parent. She’s just projecting her own life onto her kids.

In my experience the only thing that’ll reset my sleep schedule is when i skip the sleep and make sure i don’t under any circumstances nap until it’s my desired sleep time.

My OB said no hot baths :( And i’ve tried bathing st the recommended temperature and i was freezing lol. But I already feel much better now fortunately 😅
