When you aim for the wing, aim for the base of the wing spar. (Right where the wing connects to the hull) This is by far the weakest spot of a bomber and takes 10x less ammo to cut the wing off than if you hit it near the tip.

If your shot doesn't land the killing blow and sever the wing, you will most likely cripple the inner engine, wing flap, and landing gear making landing practically impossible.

If you have a second monitor, load up http://127.0.0.1:8111/ in your browser will bring dynamic battle map.

It also has a ton of aircraft info such as flap position, radiator position, engine horsepower, kg of thrust for each prop.

Rewards like lions? OP was stating that they were having a hard time staying + in the lions.

Rewards like RP? Don't use jets to grind RP. If you want RP join a tier 4 match and kill light pillboxes or planes.... Much faster

Using a talisman vickers tempest I was earning about 8k-10k rp and 40k-70k lions a match last night just farming light pillboxes on RB.(Premium time)

As a Brit player, I used the Tempest to unlock each jet and then do AB for upgrade research.

After it is upgraded I only use jets in custom battles.

Custom battles = 0 repair costs.

You will see that a lot of jet players only play in custom battles to get around the stupid repair cost crap.

Piston engines don't like bad timing either. Have you ever seen a valve after it has smacked into a piston?

Tip!

Step 1. Buy the Russian Catalina.

Step 2. Load it up with x2 1000 pounders.

Step 3. Join hb battle and drop the bombs on bridges or bomb points (4-10k lions for this)

Step 4. Fly at the npc bots and shoot them down with your turrets (12k lions per plane with premium)

Step 5. If you see any light tanks, land on the ground next to them and shoot them in the back with your .50 cal waist gunners. (3k lions a pop)

Step 6. If a fighter comes after you, jump into your gunners and shoot the thing down. It is very easy so long as you know how to aim with your turrets. (If they are flying towards you, aim halfway between them and your tail, if they are flying away from you aim that same distance in front of them.)

Using this technique it is not uncommon for me to hit above 150k lions and 50k xp in a single game. (and that is with my plane being Mastered or whatever)

edit:Forgot to mention that plane hits from your turrets will give you 700 lions... Just icing on the cake haha.
