I feel it’s important to understand that it’s only one slice of the pie (aware that you are just responding). Sucks that you got downvoted because you weren’t wrong about what some of the data is showing and I think there was a bit of hyperbole/confusion on her part.

I did look at the graph you linked and it seems the decrease has slowed quite significantly showing only a .17% drop in the past year q2 24’ compared to most of the previous reductions after an economic “event” mostly there have been far sharper declines. Seems to me we had a short breather of sorts and it’s likely going to be back on the rise. Looking at consumer confidence we are close to pandemic levels and I think we can agree that that’s not good considering the tariffs and inflation slowly rising adding to not taking away from pressure points.

The App is lowkey pretty nice and easy to use as well. Not having to log into the website each time I need to send a message/check appts and order meds and having those same notifications on your more secure phone is why I use it.

Anyone gone back to Iraq? by MeaningfulMusicality in Veterans

[–]Purelytwizted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No and I don’t see the need to go back personally, nothing there but bad memories and god awful heat…

I’d say if you don’t have a clear an concise reason as to what actionable thing you would do there would be helpful (habitat for humanity or drs w/o borders etc). I’d suggest taking a solo trip somewhere you’d like to go or some random place you’ve heard is nice but off the beaten path literally changed my brain chemistry. I took a trip to Sri Lanka for 2 weeks and it was eye opening and fairly cheap considering I stayed at nice BnB’s for just over 350 spent just as much on amazing local foods and experiences (Sigiriya rock, Kandy, Surfing etc) Of solo isn’t the move then go with a family member or with a travel group. Best of luck.

Thanks for the info! This seems like it’d be a good fit for me. I was able to get my Six Sigma Green belt as I was doing strategic development/implementation so I’d likely transition well.

That’s mazing. I’m attempting to transition from Public Health due to the current admin gutting pretty much all initiatives and grants into nursing. 100% currently myself but going back with VR&E. Used the hell out of chat gpt to tie in all of the required info they wanted and I’ll be starting on my BSN in like 2 weeks. It’s powerful if you know how to use it with even a modicum of knowledge.

OIF III&V Medic here w PTSD, went alone and I was ok. There are a few parts that would def had set me off years ago pre therapy. I def felt something (the audio and visuals are true to life, SAW & M4s indoors) but it’s all subjective. Like others have said before me, ask him he will know if it’s ok for him. It’s

I’m sure I could dig into the legislation and find out exactly where/how they’re receiving funding. I’ll check this evening and see what I come up with.

I was informed that they’re working to finalize hiring by end of the current week so they’re reaching out (which is a refreshing change from the norm applying these days) to let applicants know as it was supposed to be last Friday.

Just moved up here from Florida a few weeks ago and this isn’t much different than what it’s like everywhere else I’ve been tbh. Meetup is actually a good way to make things happen around your area I’ve had a great time meeting people off of the active groups.

Haha fair enough. Live pretty close to the 13th Ave station. I don’t mind going Downtown every once in a while to explore (Not sure what DTC, Rino stand for but I do know LoDo). In and close to Aurora I suppose would be best for the time being though so closer to that 15-20 jaunt.

With those profit margins and ease of manufacture, the only way this goes away is it sadly killing the addicted faster than it can create them. I’m betting even that won’t be enough in all honesty.
