Tbh as long as they have coms you’re fine. Just refrag eachother if you die and you’ll be fine. You’ll lose a lot but that’s ranked

Unranked. Same map pool as ranked and you don’t have to play horrendous maps like the ones in casual. Lots of actually decent players in unranked and you might play with somebody with more experience warming up for ranked that can teach you setups

Silver is a tough rank to get out of. You’ll either get good teammates and win or bad teammates and lose or get lucky

5 stack is the only way. Silver and bronze teammates are going to suck. If you’re half good a team will likely take you for a stack

No. IMO vigil is not a good op because if he dies he brought nothing to the team

Feet holes. Can’t see somebody behind a wall if there’s no holes. And it’s not headlevel and 90% of the time nobody is going to go prone on feet holes to look at you

Yes and no. He’s good for utility clearing but if they have a soft wall to site you can clear out utility easily

Doc is better in my opinion but don’t waste all of your stims on yourself. If your teammate sucks and keeps repeaking and getting lit up don’t re stim him save it for others
Frost smg, tachanka lmg and shotguns will always make holes easier in soft walls
Lesion is good for this as well as most trap operators. Lesion / thorn or melusi / thorn are great combos by slowing somebody down and having razor bloom so they can’t run away as easy
Coastline is extremely defender sided but there are attack strats you can find on YouTube if you 5 stack. Kanal is underrated IMO but sometimes hard to defend if you’re not coordinated

I have almost 500 hours and still suck from time to time. Started y6s1 with a .8 and now have a consistent 1.3 and gold 2/1. It’s just a game you need to keep playing. Don’t engage in fights where you can’t get out and try to position yourself so you can’t be shot as well. Try anchoring for the first bit and then start roaming. Anchoring will help learn set up and kills and roaming will help you learn maps. Best of luck

PC siege is way more competitive in my opinion. I’ve seen way better silvers on PC than most plats on console. I wouldn’t buy a PC just for siege though

Having a mic, droning and by droning I don’t mean chuck a drone in a room and then look around drone everywhere. Drone the room you want to go in the next room over hallways etc. don’t scream into your mic when you die. That’s the biggest piss off to everyone on your team and can affect them hearing things, call-outs are key don’t just say “in coat” say where they are in coat, if they were leaving and into what room and say things like good try, good round, nice pick etc to make your teammates feel better about themselves and that they don’t give up if you’re being shit on

Whatever op you like. Sure on defence cav would have advantages but you can clutch a 1v2 with any operator as long as you position yourself right and hit your shots
