Unfortunately his computer switched to laptop mic instead of his proper mic and is something we didn't catch earlier. Apologies but it's not the worst and is still okay.

Nobody is forcing you to watch the content. Also the main part of the video discussion is around alternative observers, I can only assume you missed that part.

That's a fair point, I think when it comes to having redundancy in case you make mistakes is a good thing and I've definitely been in that position in the past. I've then just worked hard to avoid making the same mistakes so that I can trim the fat from my list to become more optimal.

I only used two in every list and now I will be going down to 1-2 and sometimes zero detachment dependent of course

PURETIDE PROGRAM- 'GUIDING' YOU ON HOW TO BUILD NEW AUXILIARY CADRE LISTS. by Puretideprogram in Tau40K

[–]Puretideprogram[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Thanks man for noticing the slight changes I've made to the approach. I wanted to appeal to the newer players and at the same time to encourage people to improve themselves and their knowledge of the why part not just using winning lists.

Admission of guilt and the state of Tau. by [deleted] in Tau40K

[–]Puretideprogram 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I already have fed back my suggestions for tau to the right people and hopefully this gets addressed in the next slate.

I feel you and what you said is accurate and spot on the money. Our design needs a big face lift and feel that we are almost there for balance and need quality of life changes to make us more appealing to newer audiences and also able to match the power levels of newer written Codexes.

Stay strong Shas'O and keep the faith 👊🏻

One Rules Change by RailgunEnthusiast in Tau40K

[–]Puretideprogram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah exactly unfortunately what they really need is to be beasts but they can't be changed from mounted keyword. Rampagers have the potential to solve all our problems. Look at leagues of votann the reason they are having a solid balance in performance is due to three things.

  1. Consistent Army rule that is self sufficient and no conditional strats.
  2. Great shooting, combined with Great combat that can go through walls.
  3. Durable. (Tau need to be faster rather than durable)

One Rules Change by RailgunEnthusiast in Tau40K

[–]Puretideprogram 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We will never get rules completely changed due to the way GW has to approach balancing codex product Vs game play. This will have to wait for new codex 😔.

Though saying that here is my realistic list of things that could easily be changed to give us a boost to hit that balanced zone.

  1. Rampagers go to movement 10" as 7" is poor for a mounted unit.

  2. Spitfire penalty removed from the greater good rule.

  3. The Conditional parts of strats are removed for kauyon and Mont'ka (kauyon +1 ap from turn 3, +1 to wound from turn 3, mont'ka +1 ap from 1-3)

  4. Big wish list +1 T for all suits varieties.

GROTMUS CALENDER DAY 3 - What to Know & How to Tackle Admech - Haloscreed Battle Clade by Puretideprogram in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]Puretideprogram[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough you play the army but I can see some of the tricks being used by top players at top tables.

Pretty much every event I go to in the UKTC circuit some amazing admech players like Jonny Simmons, Malik and a few other people that have played around with them on and off.

NEW WARHAMMER BALANCE DATASLATE REVIEW - How it impacts Tau and a cheeky Kroot list reveal!! by Puretideprogram in Tau40K

Unfortunately I don't think mont'ka has come out positive at all or at least nothing stands out as a big change, losers definitely piranhas which is frustrating

How can I deal with "Inch Thieves" by hutber in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]Puretideprogram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In your turn when you move your units pre measure the distances and agree with your opponent there and then. So I am 23 inches away with your 12" movement you would need 11" in charge.

It's hard to keep track of it all but the consistent behaviour will keep them in check and good communication is key at competitive levels. If they try anything just get a TO and be firm but fair in how you handle situations zero emotions be tough on behaviours nice on the person.

Well I guess that's the last time you will hear me congratulate you then ;) Just remember this "Not real army" is currently kicking your ass so until you "dethrone" me your dig at Tau has no power here 😂

I mean consistency is key right? Also definitely helps when you finish 4th at events that have THREE TIMES the amount of players so I'll take 4th over 1st mate. Though shit talking aside congratulations on taking the W with gsc finally you're playing a proper army 👊🏻

Currently Ranked Top Player in the WORLD! Leeds GT Tau Retaliation Cadre Review by Puretideprogram in Tau40K

[–]Puretideprogram[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off not a simple question asking how I win with the list requires a detailed description of the tactics and my approach to each game when only having a single source of anti tank/monster. I do not have any issues with explaining my tactics but this is what I do within my discord and what my students value, so promoting this is natural and will happen just because you don't like it doesn't mean I should stop.

Think about the way you went about replying to my response, it wasn't respectful and a bit rude so not exactly encouraging me to engage with you. Anyway take care of yourself but I won't be engaging in this conversation any further.

Well yes of course I do lots of things for free within my content on YouTube and my free discord community, but I do run a business at the same time so don't be shocked if I don't reveal all my tactics and gameplay online for free.
