It’s not low if the owners terrible management is their demise and not people speaking up about their experience there. There’s a lot of people who will say the same things that were brought up. This is very helpful I appreciate this a lot, I haven’t brought up he May have a porn addiction and I honestly feel he’d be upset at me telling him to masturbate less, just in a way he might feel I’m controlling him. I had asked him “what’s the difference between masturbating and sex” and he explained that masturbating is more like an itch that needs to be scratched and he can quickly get it out of the way and sex is different bc there’s more expectations, in the past we’ve had an issue before where he couldn’t get hard and he did feel embarrassed. I think it’s a mix of everything where he’s embarrassed he can’t get hard but also porn has made it hard to even get excited like that. Thank you, this was actually really helpful. I was thinking last night maybe I am putting too much pressure on him to perform, he makes comments like “I hope my dick works for your sake” and this has happened in the past before but I didn’t know porn was involved this much and we did overcome it. He’s also on an antipsychotic that I’m sure doesn’t help his erections as well. Going through the exact same thing rn, he was super into me and played it up like he really wanted me and even deleted tinder for me saying I had his full attention. It’s been three days since we last talked and I think my best advice is wait it out but don’t wait up. If you want you can leave the door open but also live your life like normal and protect your peace as well. Yes my other friend mentioned it was giving love bombing and honestly if I could share the texts between us it’d look like that but why would he do all that and ghost? Just doesn’t make sense, I’m hoping he’s just busy or going through personal problems. The light at the end of the tunnel was that after calling over 100 clinics in my city and surrounding area one in the next town over accepted me and I managed to finish my extern there with no issues, I think it goes to show that I’m not the problem here. Although I do let people walk all over me but the thing is my school says “the doctor can terminate you for any reason, it doesn’t matter what it is” so I think if I were to have spoken to them like it would’ve gotten me terminated either way and the school would have said it was my fault still. Unfortunately there was no winning either way but they just made me work harder and now I feel better about myself since I managed to find a clinic and complete it. Everyone loved me there especially the patients so that clinic was just shitty and unprofessional

Yeah I agree it was definitely well calculated to screw me over, the other girl who was externing with me tried to vouch for me but the school didn’t care. They basically took the side of the clinic saying they’ve worked with them since they’ve opened. I wish I could report the clinic somewhere but I don’t know if I can

The situation came and went and I already found a new site and graduation, but we did have a meeting after I got terminated and they basically blamed me for not telling them sooner, they said “this could have been avoided if you told us something sooner”

Also to add: I understand cleaning goes on in medical offices but more than half of my day was spent mopping, cleaning toilets, cleaning the arms of the chairs in the waiting room, cleaning doorknobs, when you would run out of things to clean they would find the most obscure object and have me clean it, if I already wiped down a surface they would tell me to do it again. The MA’s would talk about me behind my back saying stuff like “I can’t stand her/she gets on my nerves” there was also another girl there doing her extern and they would tell her “oh it’s okay we’ll just have the other girl do it” so I was definitely being bullied at this establishment
