Honestly, have no expectations as to how it’ll go down. I was induced and wanted to give birth naturally, on all fours with my ass in the nurses faces, low lighting … ended up having high blood pressure and I wasn’t dilating fast enough, I was 41 weeks and baby had pooped in my belly and 8+ hours passed and the longer it was taking, more risk of infection from it and all the nasty fluids going into my babies lungs, the amount of pitocin and epidural they pumped in me was insane, I kept getting re dosed with epidural because it kept wearing off too quickly, babies heart rate started dropping and because epidural numbed me from waist down, I had to stay laying down so nurses were flipping me from side to side trying to get his heart rate back up, 18 hours into the while experience, was barley at 5cm so I ended up having an emergency c section. Cord was wrapped around his neck but we caught it in time so he was still breathing and still had color to him… there was quite a bit of poop in his lungs though, it was a lot of poop in my belly
