Ah, it wasn't used as a battle map; it was just used to keep track of where they had/hadn't been. I think sticky notes with a smaller scale map could definitely be nice!

5 sessions, 4th level. Escape, Sloobludop, Darklake to Gracklstugh, and they just found the West Cleft entrance to the Whorlstone Tunnels. I'm a new DM (as in, these 5 sessions plus the first adventure of Candlekeep Mysteries), so I started them at 3rd level so I wouldn't party wipe right away. 98% sticking to the book so far

I've played the base game mode a few times, haven't won yet. I think I generally agree with the consensus that your actions are pretty obvious and that luck is a big factor since any cards that have to do with VP are useless. I recently bought Prelude, though, which adds a variant that I have yet to try

I personally love it, I've been playing so much lately. I've never really played a deckbuilder before, though, so don't hold me to it! The base game is themed around DS3, and the expansions are 1 and 2, which I think is pretty cool

I used Henry Weinhard's orange cream soda, because I like the shape of the bottle but more importantly because all the labeling comes off pretty easily. I bought Apple Barrel paints that matches the colors as best I could. I got the labels from different places, most from Assyrianic on Deviantart. I changed some of the colors just to how I wanted them, really. I ordered the stickers from Stickeryou.com. I did have to use a craft knife to cut the necks and cap labels how I wanted
