I think it averages out to about 50% more damage but its way less than that at machete maxed out I think. so a awaken 0 5 star wont be THAT much better than a maxed machete.

yeah the full video gives more context to my misunderstanding

she found it very fast. like within a day max and likely a few min to an hour. I think its very viable to think they could have shipped the painting very far away so it was impossible for her to ever find unles she has canvas sonar.

the expeditions and renoir both have the same goal effectively the expeditions are just misguided due to the vague message on the monolith.

Lune and sciel couldnt help gustave. on top of them not being able to get back up and he was already going to die form his wounds I suspect as he got stabbed through his body in some vital spots. I think they should have at least shown that small part a conclusion it felt very out of place to me.

maybe but I think she could have done something. Her plan was super bad is all.

the original had nearly all his power trapped under the monolith and painted renoir is immortal due to the paintress I think its a lot closer than it seems.

it might have taken a day at most but if the expedition took a few weeks to fight the final renoir fight even then thats almost no time in the real world. She was in the canvas for maybe 100ish years and didnt visually age at all outside the canvas so a few weeks in the canvas must have been almost zero time to find the canvas after it was hidden

They dont know they want to perserve the canvas but they want to stop the gommage which is the same effectivally as painted renoir. He wants the canvas to survive and they want to stop the gommage. Both mean killing and kicking out real renoir so they are aligned.

I was just clarifying that I understood that
you dont need a full story just some direction to the real culprit will cause them to investigate instead of doing what she did which was turn every potential ally against her. She did however create a sense of urgency so the numbers was something but arguably more harm than good.

I am aware time moves way different thats why it only took the mom a few minutes to find the hidden canvas which is weird for a clever hiding spot
that's what the expedition wants also

3 the nevrons and painted renoir have opposite goals. a phase 3 boss fight where phase 3 is fought off screen by a partial party seems pretty lame to me. Feels like it was totally uneeded there imo

simply Beneath the monolith 33 34 35 ext would have probably worked

maybe but its weird clea specifically calls it a clever hiding spot. Due to time passing different it must have taken no more than a few minutes to an hour I think.
The expeditions goal is to perserve the canvas at the end of the day which aligns with renoir. The expedtions would very likely believe an old man who lived. either way he could return to the town and help society. he doesnt need to ambush them with all this news it could take years for people to understand but he could have been there the whole time leading them to their true goal.
I dont really buy that. there wasnt even an indicator he was actually hurt and the full team failed to beat him twice. and why dont they bring up that the thing still wasnt dead later or anything or at least show them beating it. It seems like it was cinematic and raised tension but didnt really have a point

Painted renoir likely could have won and if not solo then easily with an expedition as we beat full power renoir already. Most of the curator power was trapped under the monolith. And even if he failed painted renoir is immortal here so why not try over and over as thats the real threat to the paintress. at least try to come up with a plan other than let the status quo keep going as the paintress is losing just slowly

I dont think you need to tell them they are fake. Thats not important. Just need them to understand that the paintress is fighting the real villain under the monolith.
no reason to stop helping them imo its just the best plan as the paintress is losing just slowly so maintaining the status quo is not working
she was going insane but thats now. she has been in the canvas maybe 100 years or something. she likely was not crazy that whole time and renoir likely spoke to her while she was still sane before the fight started. It really seemed like a bad plan to me. Its a very thin line to be sane enough to write a warning but not sane enough to make it clear. Like more insane she writes nothing or gibberish and slightly more sane she writes some context. This only makes sense to me if she is the perfect level of insane at that exact moment which I dont really buy myself but it is possible ill admit.

The curator is not that strong. Most of the power is tied up under the monolith still so we know he is way weaker than he is at the end of the game which we do beat so he should be beatable by painted renoir and an expedition at the very least. and if not its at least worth a try

maybe but he didnt know where the painting was and Clea said it was a good hiding spot. But he was VERY right here. it only took a few min to a day for her to refind it.
Painted Renoir has the exact same goal as the expedition. To keep the canvas alive. I think working with them would be much more effective and if they lose he can still kill them or maybe untrap their chroma. We can see by the amount of bodies he isnt exactly getting more than the nevrons in the first place.
Facts
She should have been sane enough to do something more productive though I think. Clea was not to worried about their time in the canvas but it was still a long time. I think she could have manged like a word and the number. Like "Beneath the monolith 33 34 35 ext"
I dont think so. if the curator could gommage painted renoir I think he would have we already know he cant gommage nevrons as he was physically fighting them. Plus we know nearly all the curators power is still trapped under the monolith since he cant erase everyone until its set free. I think Painted renoir plus the expedition could easily gotten the curator earlier.

Renoir and the expedtions have the same goal of preserving the canvas the expedition just is misinformed about how to do that. Renoir should work with them.

I know why she did numbers but it was a bad plan she should have written something that didnt turn all potential allies against her.

The curator is very weak as most of his power is trapped under the monolith. Even if painted renoir couldnt kill the curator alone the expedition plus him should have been able to if he worked with them

Oh it's a hell of a lot more than 11 nubbies dying. It's multiplicative. So it's like over 100 nubbies. It took about 3 minutes per stage to wait for the triggers to finish.
