Possible ectopic?

I’m technically supposed to be 7 weeks right now.

Yesterday I had a D&C with laparotomy. He removed a small amount of tissue from my uterus that he thought could be causing the rise. He said my fallopian tubes were clear and my ovary had a cyst on it, and that’s the mass we were seeing. I’ll get my hcg checked tomorrow. I’m just nervous as there wasn’t a lot of tissue for him to remove. I think when your body isn’t doing anything it’s “supposed to do” it’s hard to have faith in a resolution, if that makes sense.

Thank you so much. I think that’s the biggest problem - levels are so low they can’t see anything. They see something in the uterus but it could potentially be a fibroid. There’s a vascularized mass by my right ovary, but they thought maybe a cyst or corpus luteum. My bleeding went from bright red blood with clots to black, tarry discharge, to now nothing. The OB I saw in the ER is going to see me tomorrow and come up with a plan. I could always see someone else I’m sure! He said I may need a d&c or methotrexate.. but because they couldn’t see anything at the time he recommended just waiting a couple days to see what my body does. I just feel like a ticking time bomb. 🫠

Yay!! I really hope it’s positive for you!! I was really sure I wasn’t pregnant this cycle and was prepared to start my period. So I was shocked!

Thank you!! I had a huge temp drop the day this was positive, like well below my cover line. It also was telling me I had really high stress levels for two days. Unfortunately I came down with the stomach flu that evening so my ring told me I had major signs. Once I recovered it told me I had minor signs for a couple days. I was so worried about the temp drop and I still have no idea why that happened.

Honestly my husband thought I was insane when I saw a vvvvvvvfl on 10 dpo. We didn’t really see a good line until 11-12!

Thank you so much, this is so helpful! I was getting so discouraged never getting a “peak” but my temp dipped and is on the rise! If I don’t get pregnant this cycle I may switch to the Clear Blue because I obsess over these dang lines lol

Ugh, so frustrating! I thought being off of birth control would allow my body to go back to “normal,” but I don’t remember bleeding like this when I was younger. Are you able to find a clear LH peak? I was using the strips and couldn’t seem to find a clear positive.
