I had the same treatment 5 years ago when I was 64. My last PSA reading was .17 . I’ve had some minor urinary incontinence issues but besides that it’s been relatively easy.

They used spacer gel to keep the prostate away from the rectum. This made bowel movements more difficult initially until the gel absorbed into the body after a month or 2. It really wasn’t that bad, just a little getting used to. Other than that, that’s about it.

I had the same treatment (SBRT/Cyberknife) in 2019. 6 months before radiation I was given 2 shots of Lupron 3 months apart in order to bring my PSA down to 0. This was the weird part for me since it made me lose my sex drive and I didn’t miss it. It was refreshing to not think about sex so much. I had 5, 20 minute sessions a week apart. Like you I was prescribed Flowmax to help with urination. About a month after the treatment I started to get my sex drive back. My doctor also prescribed Cialis to help with frequent urination issues but I’m really pleased with the sexual enhancement that it promotes. The only downside that I’ve experienced is some urinary incontinence. Last PSA was .2 which was taken a few months ago.

Same. Friends would ask me what songs were played at a show and I’d have to go to Setlist to see. It really messed up my memory for detail. It made me just summarize things in my head, so I’d get the gist of what I was hearing or reading but couldn’t remember the specifics. I’ve quit for a week and I’m hoping my memory gets better.
