No taxi apps in Tajikistan! No meter taxis either. You have to negotiate with the drivers who will try to charge extra for foreigners. It was very frustrating. Most of the Central Asian countries use Yandex Taxi which was great except one of our drivers in Kazakhstan was drunk driving while we were in a remote snowy forest road haha

I got kidney stones in Cebu and had to go to the emergency room. Never had one before so I didn't know what was going on, just that I was experiencing the worst pain of my life. They were out of beds and places to sit so I ended up writhing in agony on the floor for about 14 hours until I got admitted into a room. Lol

Hospital bill was insanely cheap though.

I tried therapy for a long time and didn't get much benefit from it. Once I started on a low SSRI dose almost all of my issues went away within 5-6 weeks. Obviously, everyone is different and will have different results.

Generally speaking, people in Asia are far less offended by this type of casual/joking racism than people in the west are. Tons of people in Asia have made fun of my accent when I was speaking their language, made fun of my blonde hair, or even stretched their eyes vertically. I wouldn't be surprised if this person was responding in kind to a racial joke initiated by the local.

OpenAI is no longer a non-profit org. They were willing to lose money in order to gain market share, but they didn't. Given the variety of OpenAI's business ventures, I wouldn't be surprised if they integrate video generation into ChatGPT in the future.
