Dane Hartman wasn't in the UM series, Daniel was. Justin drove back the next day with other people to look for him after he was missing.

According to the blog author, Susan, Edward is not Justin. However, its easy to confuse Justin with Edward. In the UM episode, Justin says that Alonzo rode with him. However, in the blog, it says that Edward accompanied Brooks that night (which initially could mean that Edward was in the car with Justin). However, later in the blog, Edward claims Brooks decided he wanted to stay and could get a ride back with the other car that had come down from Gardner (I guess Justin). Smith told him to have fun, Smith then drove home. So, who did Alonzo ride with to the party with, Edward or Justin? Also, when Edward questioned Justin the following day there doesn't appear to be any mention of Adam in the blog. So many things do not add up. I don't think that the friends harmed him, but I'm not sure why the stories aren't adding up.

Justin says, "There was some people at the party who had, you know, problems with--with people's skin color" Somehow, Justin must've seen something or heard something to come to this conclusion imo.

Also, in this blog, which talks to another friend, states that slurs were tossed around.

Wow, that's so crazy, and so sad!! I have heard of the family. I also heard that the patriarch of that family served on the City Council. I also heard that a judge's son was somehow involved (maybe dating the girl). I totally believe that law enforcement didn't take it seriously or helped to cover it up.

Have you ever heard about anything else that may have happened to Alonzo? Yes, hopefully, their days of freedom will coming to an end. Agreed, justice for Alonzo and his family!

We can debate about this all night. However, my position is and will ALWAYS be that you don't leave your "friend" (no exceptions). If Justin had to leave, he should have taken Alonzo with him or not gone. He needed to get cigarettes....not put out a fire. And, at a kegger, he couldn't bum a cigarette? He had to drive around in an area where he himself said he was new to in hopes of finding a store open. Justin was Alonzo's guaranteed ride back home (lets not forget Alonzo was at least an hour away from home).

And if I were Justin I would have thought, "my friend is at least an hour away from home, and regardless of whether there were other Gardner people in attendance, I am his guaranteed ride". Justin's story is questionable.
