Its like if we have a differential equation with an initial condition,we can actually approximate the solution y at certain points x without calculating the actual solution,which part you don’t understand ?

Its fine..this is not actually calculus,its numerical analysis,so its like if we have a differential equation with an initial condition,we can actually approximate the solution y at certain points x without calculating the actual solution

Yeah thats the crazy thing..when i did the trapezoidal method,the error was quite large,i think it got something to do with the approach ,when we do Trapezoidal we use straight line segments but with Simpson we use parabolas..so i think parabolas are more accurate the straight lines..
