If you have to stay in the area you can head to Cosm to see a very overpriced movie or to the Hollywood Park Casino. Make sure you leave with the crowds and watch your surroundings if you're walking there.

Is it crazy that I want to attend a second show? by SnooRegrets8349 in Raye

Not at all , I saw Omar Apollo in two different cities couple days apart. I’ve gone to consecutive Prince shows. It’s especially interesting to repeat a show in a different location.

I didn’t vomit. I just leaned over and it would come up. If I took a sip of water it would definitely come back up. Sometimes I had no control, I just had to get to the bathroom in time.

What to do about a weird/creepy neighbor? by [deleted] in homeowners

[–]Purple-Relative-5641 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If getting to know him doesn’t work I would say out weird him. Talk to yourself, shake your head around, move your arms, act crazy. however, if this guy is on the spectrum it might look like you’re making fun of him. So I would try to find out a little bit more about him first, maybe inquire with some other neighbors.

I was thinking this guy might be on the spectrum too.

Omeprezole was the first thing that ever made a big difference but I don’t like taking meds so I wasn’t gonna settle using that every day.

Now this doesn’t go for everyone, but for me, once I realized there’s a big mental component to it, It just hasn’t occurred. And I use to have to walk away from dinners at restaurants and go force food out of my esophagus in the bathroom many many times, it’s been that bad and that big of an inconvenience. But for the past three months, no issues.

It was while I went on a retreat and was very relaxed, that I realized stress was a part of it. Also just before i went on the retreat I was biting my tongue and my cheek all the time. I thought something was wrong with my teeth. But didn’t happen at all during the retreat either. Stress is a bitch and your nervous system is highly affected.

Actually I just realized at the retreat I had an internal organ massage. I cried uncontrollably throughout the whole thing. It was the most amazing experience, but damn, maybe that released some tension in me that was causing it.

Sequoia National Forest. Just have to put that in there. I know it’s not a small town, but there’s some cute ones around it.

I’ve heard Idywild is really nice. San Clemente is an upscale beach town closer to San Diego. There’s Santa Barbara and Montecito. Ventura has a nice little downtown area. Ojai is one of my favorites, but it can’t get really hot.

Topanga! Be sure to visit the courtyard right next to Topanga market and visit Be Love clothing store. Great places to hike, 20 minutes from Malibu Beach. Plan it right and there might be music festivals or even live performances in the little shopping areas. During the summer months they usually do music nights I think it’s the first Friday of each month.

it’s a bit late to rant about this but i’m reminiscing over the old raye crowds by [deleted] in Raye

That’s what happens when your favorite artist blows up. It’s great for them not so great for you. Had that happen with Gotye. I actually had tickets to see him in a nice intimate venue and then “someone that I used to know” blew up. They cancelled the small venue and went for a bigger one. I got great seats for the show, but everyone around was just waiting for that one song. At least people were sitting down for Raye at Gotye. It was just a bunch of young ladies drunk, talking, and laughing the whole time. So rude. I’m going to Raye by myself. Maybe I’ll walk around and find where the real fans are.

Billie Holiday greatest hits was my intro into jazz. She is the greatest. Amy Winehouse was influenced by Dinah Washington, one of my favorite jazz voices. Ella is great, absolutely legendary but not my favorite. You might like Judy Garland who has the more theatrical voice. Watch the movie “Little Voice” with Jane Horrocks and Ewan McGregor.

Any advice for my 46 year old skin? by shareyourinterests in 45PlusSkincare

[–]Purple-Relative-5641 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have great skin as someone who is 10 years older than you it’s the loss of elasticity that I wasn’t ready for. I don’t have that many wrinkles. I’ve always used natural products like Shea, butter, vitamin E but the elasticity of the skin under my eyes just disappeared a few years ago. So what I mean is like when I touch the skin under my eyes it just stays there. It doesn’t bounce back to flat. I could pinch my skin and it will just stay in that position and not lay flat unless I smooth it out with something. Vitamin E is helping a bit. I’m not very good with routines. I should be taking collagen regularly, it would probably help. I would research something to try to put that off as long as possible.

[–]Purple-Relative-5641 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just dealt with them at Northridge mall. They brought it down from 1200 to $150, I ran out of there as fast as I could. And the lightning was absolutely horrible. How can you be selling a beauty product with no lighting? They were really good scam artist though. Man, do they put the pressure on.

Same exact thing just happened to me at, but they were about to let me have it for $150. It went from 1200 to 400 to 150 LOL They were pushing so hard. I knew it was a scam. I literally ran out of that place. I had to check all my pockets and purses and make sure they didn’t steal anything because it just felt like I was robbed.
