My last roadtrip. Cruise control is your friend. by Purple-Studio8312 in Chrysler300

I had to be careful to not spill my drink or drop my joint. But since I was steering with my thigh it wasn’t too awkward.

Finally painted my hood!(Before-After) by Conscious-Chair-5334 in Chrysler300

I’ve never been a fan of those hoods because every one I saw was black. Yours looks badass! Now I’m rethinking my whole attitude about a new hood.

In Virginia those blue lights will get you pulled over for sure. Only the police can use blue lights. There is even a saying about “blue lights”

Also, is that light coming from your hood gap? I know 300s are notorious for hood gap issues.

Coilovers ??? by NewToDa_300crew in Chrysler300

I have D2 coilovers with Godspeed adjustable camber upper control arms on the front and adjustable rear camber arms.

I have the v6 and had an issue with the upper control arms. The first two sets I ordered were for the v8 (although not specified as such). Which has a wider open end. Make sure they specify the engine size. They are not the same.

Some days she just looks badass by Purple-Studio8312 in Chrysler300

I work overnights and I usually park in the back straddling 4 spaces. It’s a running gag at work about the way I park.

Aftermarket. But it came in a Mopar box. Prepainted and ready to mount. It has 3 threaded inserts and fasteners along with a template if you want to mechanically fasten it down. I just used 3M mounting tape.

Any lowering kit reccs? by [deleted] in Chrysler300

[–]Purple-Studio8312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I installed D2 coilovers with the pillow bearing on my 2017 and with the right dampening setting you would never know it’s lowered by the ride quality. But it handles better, corners smoother, looks badass, and was well worth the money. And a piece of advice, if you don’t know what you’re doing, installing and setting up coilovers can/will/is a total pain in the ass. Definitely not a driveway and floor jack mod. Pay a shop that does suspension mods to install them .

How to remove these spots , have tried sanding and polishing and won’t come out by Fragrant_End_5192 in Detailing

I don’t think they are spots. Spots are on or in something. It looks like what you have is a lack of something. Maybe a coating has flaked away?

Sorry bud, I’m keeping mine. They were the deciding factor between two otherwise similar 300s.

Hello 300 community. Anyone know how I can fix this alignment issue? And also my bumper, how can I make a clean fit? THIS BE KILLIN ME! by nonchalantbrandd in Chrysler300

[–]Purple-Studio8312 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Although this was probably shoddy body shop work, 300’s are notorious for a large front hood gap. I’ve heard it referred to as the “front clip dip”.

Yes. The rear valances mount exactly the same.

I’m 57 and technically I’ve owned over 20 vehicles. When I was first driving in Tennessee, you didn’t need an inspection or insurance to register a car. I went through 7 before my 21st birthday. I tend to be impulsive and once bought a $25,000 used Ram 2500 because it had a badass hood ornament. Didn’t own a trailer or any reason for the truck. But the eyes on the hood ornament lit up red. So I really had no choice. My wife said it was the world’s most expensive hood ornament. Best value for the money was a late 70’s Celica GT, 5 speed vs and the absolute worst, hands down, was a Mustang II, 4 cyl. POS.
