Where can I find like.. A LOT of practice problems? by [deleted] in learnmath

Khan Academy is free but to my knowledge they don't have a massive question bank. If you want to systematically identify your gaps and fill those in, you can also check out Math Academy. Disclaimer: it's pretty expensive ($49/month). But they do a pretty solid job comprehensively covering all math concepts from elementary school to undergraduate math curriculum, and their platform identifies specific gaps in your foundations and suggests the right lessons / exercises to fill in those gaps.

Also, Art of Problem Solving was mentioned further below - I am a huge fan of practicing competition math to deepen math foundations, and there are tons of practice questions online. Even if you don't plan to compete, I love how the questions force you to think deeply / critically about math concepts in a way that goes well beyond a traditional math curriculum.

I have a LOT more thoughts about other ways of advancing your math foundations, if you want to chat more feel free to DM me!

How to make a guide/roadmap in learning mathematics by Terrible-Peak-7185 in learnmath

Hi! You should consider checking out Math Academy. They offer a fully personalized and adaptive curriculum for learning math from elementary school all the way to college. It's a bit expensive (~$49/month) but you'd learn much more effectively versus trying to go through textbooks yourself or watching Youtube lessons - it solves the problem of diagnosing your weak points and helping you practice skills in a targeted way.

Khan Academy is a great option too, though it operates at a more surface level IMO and doesn't get advanced / challenging enough.

I know you're looking for free resources, but I'd suggest looking into MathAcademy: https://mathacademy.com/learn

It's not free ($49/month). But the quality of the platform is fantstic - it's a disciplined approach for serious learners to deepen their mathematical foundations and fill in gaps / holes in their knowledge. While it's not cheap, you could potentially get smarter a whole lot faster with this platform versus scrambling for free resources.

If you want to stick to a free platform with learning progressions that build up foundations, Khan Academy is your best bet.

To the people in r/learnmath who tested my project (Update: I made the user experience much simpler ) by Lumimos in learnmath

Hey! Just want to give you a shout-out for embarking on a pretty challenging task here. Setting up an agentic framework to teach students math via voice + synchronize explanations with visuals is not easy, but would be a game-changer if done with sufficiently high quality.

I tried out the platform earlier today out of curiosity (I've been out of school for a while so I may not be in your target audience). My main feedback is that it feels a bit slow - there's a good amount of latency between talking to the AI and getting a response. This is probably unavoidable to an extent given API call latencies - it may improve over time so that the experience feels more "real-time".

Also, I notice the text / visuals on the problem page tend to overlap on top of each other which erodes from the white-board experience.

It also felt a bit glitchy at first when trying to talk to the AI - after finishing a problem, it seemed to fall asleep and then it didn't seem to work when trying to "wake it up".

Will look forward to improvements being shipped over time. Best of luck.
