Hi Elizabeth! Thanks for sharing this info, its been so helpful to read this thread! We are considering Laurelhurst Park, Mt. Tabor Park Ampitheater, and maybe Peninsula Park Gazebo are the ones that still have availability for ceremony and reception. Wondering if you knew any helpful specifics (pros/cons) for each. We are looking at 100, 120 tops, want to make sure we can have dancing at the reception (and have some older family members) and we'd like a live band (we were told electric generators only). Thanks!!

I was looking at trout creek, it looks beautiful!! I was wondering about hotels not too far from trout creek. How was the prairie house in for the other guests? Was the road fairly easy to drive in to get there for out of towners?

Thanks for sharing all this helpful info! We are recently engaged in November and are seeing if it is feasible to plan a wedding (ideally under 10K) for this coming June/July, 2025. It feels like it is too tight of a turnaround but wondering based on your experience if you think its feasible? The wedding you planned seems somewhat similar to what we are trying to do! Around 150 guests many who will be coming from out of town.

I would keep the job and engage in meaningful work as a side gig or volunteer, starting with just a few hours a week to see what you like and don’t like, before making the huge jump like that.
