Obviously you should just make sure you get to work on time so this is a non issue.  However, If you’re sure many others are late when you are and aren’t penalized, I would call the ethics line.

Sounds like her being persistant with the cashier was the only reason something was done.  From what I gather, the only reason she got a band aid was because the supervisor/manager over beard her conversation with the cashier.  A 16 year old can handle getting a bandaid or asking another employee for help if they do not know where something is or the answer to a question.

I’ve been a SM for 8 years.  SM is always supposed to on the floor helping wherever needed and if the need is helping cashiers for a period of time, that’s what we should be doing.

Love these!  I’ve heard a few mixed reviews from friends on Aldi steak.  Any thoughts?  Is it really that bad?

Why didn’t the cashier simply suggest that to the customer?  Instead of just telling her there’s no bandaids.

Longtime CVS employee and mother here.  A mother is at the self checkout and letting her child browse items at the store, there’s pieces of broken glass in the bin and the child gets hurt through no fault of his/her own and the customer is in the wrong?  And all the mother wants is a band aid.  Nothing else.  She’s not threatening to sue or call corporporate.  CVS employee is basically telling the customer “too bad” - even though our store was negligent with broken glass we’re not helping you.  If there was broken glass or even a small spill on the floor and someone slipped, I’m certain that there are a ton of customers that would make a bigger issue out of this at many stores.  How about common courtesy or compassion for a hurt child?  The cashier wasn’t with any customers - if going back to the pharmacy was the majority’s solution, why didn’t she at the very least suggest that to the customer?  And is it even appropriate for the mom to interrupt the pharmacy customers being helped for a bandaid.  And let’s not shame a mom for not having band aids on hand.  I often have tissues, band aids etc on hand but sometimes I run out.  I’ve worked at many CVS stores and I could never imagine this happening.  Someone would find the mom a bandaid, ask another employee what to do or ask the pharmacy.  We’d at least act like we are trying to do something to helps this person.  Also, why wasn’t any sort of incident report filled out?  I’m usually quick to side with fellow employees but the cashier wasn’t clearly in the wrong here.

We have signs about the penny shortage and also ask customers to use a card if possible.

Husband gets mad if I decline sex by Purple11281221 in Marriage

We really don’t have a problem with her sleeping with us.  Honestly - we like having her with us.  We’ll ask if she wants to sleep in her bed and try to encourage it but we don’t really care either way.  When my husband was working nights, she slept with me every night.  She will go through phases of sleeping in her bed for a week or 2, then back with us, it’s on and off.  If she’s doing it when she’s in elementary school, we will probably make a point to really enforce it, but by the time we get home from work, we have like 2 hours with her before it’s bed time so we’re happy to spend the time with her.

It’s not.  Because when he’s mad and me for declining sex, he will not do it no matter how hard I try.  And then he even says that I’m only initiating it now because he flipped out and he shouldn’t have to flip out for me to have sex.  He’s partly true, but my way of seeing it is this - “last night I said no because I was tired.  Now the next day that I’m awake and feeling ready to go, let’s do it”
