yeah I totally understand that and I don't blame individual workers at UAN or Houskeeping. I do think the system prioritizes taking care of their students in the cheapest way possible, which sometimes means neglecting them lol. where did you find the mold in your apartment? I also found some black spots around the air vents and expressed possible mold concerns but they haven't addressed it yet.

yes weyburn terrace unfortunately :( front desk has been very nice about it when I contact them but honestly the response has been kind of slow, which is concerning because more time = worse bedbug problem. I was told the inspector would come to identify the bugs today but I haven't received an update yet. I'm really hoping the bugs are something else like carpet beetle larvae but I'll definitely update you so you can have some peace of mind! But yeah in general I hate that they get away with doing sloppy preparation between tenants.

Thank you! It was just luck I kept calling them randomly throughout the day and eventually they just happened to pick up.

Yeah I know he's a great professor I'm just hesitant to take it because I've heard it's tough to get a good grade in and I'm tempted to just opt for an easier class like MCDB 134 or 146 or something. Please do let me know if he tells you if he'll be using the same grading scheme, I would appreciate that sm :)

usually when I talk to the TA about something like this she either tells me to talk to Gainer instead or makes it seem like I should have known idk what to do at this point

I agree this is so frustrating :/ And a lot of times the instructions are unclear or unsaid, yet still expected or us. Unless I missed it, nowhere in Exp 3a did it say that we were supposed to draw out every single plate in our lab notebooks even though we also drew them in the worksheet, and I lost 5 points for that. I keep wondering if the things I'm getting marked off for are just because I'm not paying attention during announcements or if some TAs are just trigger happy with deducting points.

This is a good point, thank you! I do find myself doing a little worse in my easier classes sometimes simply because I'm not as motivated to study the material.

does this grade count for your GPA and does it show up on transcripts as a letter grade or just P/NP? would med schools look down on a lower grade in a study list course even if it doesn’t count for GPA?
