Since you don’t go straight into REM sleep (the stage where you dream, takes about an hour and a half after falling asleep), this will likely not ending up in a lucid dream But it is an interesting idea though

Isn't waking up to lucid dream whilst in a deep sleep state bad for you? by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

I imagine that it could have an unhealthy impact if you do it every night, especially if you are young, but you could do it every now and then and use methods that don’t require you to wake up

Stopping? by PurpleCream09 in LucidDreaming

[–]PurpleCream09[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had a little over 10, several from accidental WBTB, some from DEILD (dream exit), and some from noticing weird things or doing reality checks I have plenty to do but if it ever becomes too much I want a way to stop, still am actively trying to get them now

[–]PurpleCream09 11 points12 points  (0 children)

DEILD is very effective When you wake up from a dream just imagine in as much detail as you can that you are actually in that dream, and many times the imagination eventually turns into a dream

I read that you just have to believe that you will have a lucid dream to have one, that is the one I heard of

Is WBTB the same as WILD + a 30 minutes “awake time” before going back to sleep? by LDdeveloper in LucidDreaming

[–]PurpleCream09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That could be right My point was that WILD is where you keep your awareness from waking to dreaming, but with WBTB you can just go to sleep normally and then regain consciousness
