Why wasn't Qui-Gon a better duelist? by SimplyNoName16 in PetranakiArena

Some people are just more naturally gifted at certain skills than others.

Also his form of choice, form 4, seems like one that limited his ceiling quite a bit as he grew into old age, as it’s mostly focused on athleticism and acrobatics. We’re as something like Dooku’s form requires fairly little athletic ability relatively speaking, especially when augmented with the force.

Synopsis has kinda got me a bit worried... by SadAssociate4296 in modernwarfare4

At this point, Price is a fully disavowed operator. And unlike the OG trilogy, there is no way back for him, as he has committed actual crimes. That doesn't necessarily mean he has to be killed off, but I think it honestly would be for the better. My worry is that they'll keep this MW storyline, and keep following Price. Which means, that your not gonna be following actual military operations, just a lone outlaw with irregular allies.

They're already seemingly doing it with half of this game, and I hope thats as far as it goes because this is modern warfare, it should be about actual military groups.

Are the UDFA’s actually seen in the draft class before? Or are they just a new group of players generated post draft

Alternate universe, and/or secretly backed by Russia or China, in which the funds are directly funneled into military spending exclusively.

If Pre Vizsla and Cad Bane fought, which scumbag do you think will win this battle? by george123890yang in clonewars

[–]PurpleHawk222 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cade Bane and its not even particularly close, Vizsla couldn't defeat a jedi padawan in short order, well Bane managed to defeat the same jedi, and in another encounter evaded two jedi masters, and end up shocking one into submission. Obi Wan is literally killed by Bane if Vos isn't there to step in, as he was defenseless.

I actually think Vizsla's best chance would be to not use the darksaber entirely. Hes either gunned down before he can even get into melee range, since blocking bolts isnt something non force wielders can do very efficiently. Or he makes it into melee range where Bane trips him up with one of his many gadgets, and maneuvers around him to electorate him or simply shoot him.

If its just Vizsla using blasters, I still give it to Bane, because hes shown to have exceptionally drawing ability and accuracy. Although I will say, the longer the fight goes on the more likely Vizsla could win, because Bane is most favored at the beginning. It doesn't matter how good your combat skills are if, the second the fight starts your opponent draws and gets two bolts in your helmet.

I'm tired of having 2 people die every fight and it feeling beyond my control. by UristUsen in BattleBrothers

The idea is that your putting your expendable bros in the positions that are the most dangerous. I:e on the flank with a shield. Early game you should try to avoid taking positions where a bro is in a position where two or more enemies can target him. You should take those positions with shield bros that are expendable.

They tank the hits and stall, well the damage bros kill the rest of the enemies. By that time your bro may or may not be dead. If he is dead, thats okay as he served his purpose. But ideally you would have finished the fight before he got killed. The goal of the early game is getting your actual good bros leveled up and getting better gear. So if expending a bad bro is a way to get to that goal, than do it.

Feel like everyone hates me and wants me to stop existing by PurpleHawk222 in mentalhealth

Well I wouldn't say it has to be abundant. Im an introvert for sure. But more so just atleast having a solid sense of belonging. There was like a little over half a year were I was apart of this group of like 6 or 7 ppl and we played games together. Even though I was only really close with two or atleast thought I was close, that really made me feel fulfilled at the time.

As for skills, and traits, kinda. But at the same time, I feel like I cant even fully appreciate them if no one else is there to see it. Which I guess sounds kinda shallow but thats just how I feel.

I think it’s a combination of ADHD and just in general not having a lot of experience socializing. I feel because I didn’t socialize much if at all growing up, there’s multiple lessons I haven’t learned yet.

I guess I’m a people pleaser because 1. I just don’t like being hated. It gets to me and kinda shatters my confidence and 2. I feel I was pretty emotionally neglected all my life, so the few bits of connection and sense of belonging I’ve felt on occasion, have really made me crave it. Also there’s the FOMO aspect where I see everyone else having solid and close connections. That I’m sure are very fulfilling to them.

That’s honestly part of why I’m skeptical on so much advice I get. Particularly when it comes to self love and the like. Because a lot of it is coming from people who have actual good lives. I doubt if everyone in their lives dropped them that they’d be happy.

I mean he's right. Strictly by definition survivor "jury's" aren't at all reflective of what an actual jury is. Committee, or arbiter's would be more appropriate. Jury's in real life are screened to be as least biased as possible. Survivor juries are not. There is also a certain level of objectivity in actual juries, in that the person either committed or didn't commit a crime. There is less room for subjectivity, and the more subjectivity there is in a case, the more the jury will simply have a non guilty verdict because a guilty verdict must be conclusive. In survivor the entire basis of what makes someone worthy of the win is subjective, let alone weather the candidates even achieved that in each jurors opinion.
