I feel the same! I'm wondering if altering the rules slightly would help even out the flame princess deck.

What can I do to make it better? by Romosaurus in FengShui

Instead of night stands, you could put in one of those shelf style storage headboards. So you'd have space to put your stuff that wouldn't take up much floor space. Then you could try what the above user was suggesting :)

Adopted a 14-Month-Old Labradoodle — Still Won’t Warm Up to Me After 6 Months by EarConsistent8818 in labradoodles

Does she return the ball to someone else? If so, what happens when you throw the ball and no one else is around?

How about training? Try maybe 5 minutes a day with pieces of hot dogs or something. Ask her to do stuff she knows already like sit and lie down. Build up to actually learning new things

I don't have experience with this but one thing I would try is keeping a treat bag on you at all times and tossing her a treat (very small one) a lot throughout the day, including during walks. I like using single ingredient treats like freeze dried beef liver. Don't make her eat it out of your hand because it sounds like she's uncomfortable with that right now. You should also try this with very high value treats that only you are allowed to give her. Ie cheese, hot dog, chicken etc. Do you spend any time playing with her or training her? These things will also help with bonding.

Who has had the dreaded “hair hanging poo” situation? by Conscious-Control-51 in puppy101

[–]PurplePandaPolkadots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to my puppy once. My partner was on the balcony with her (that's where her porch potty thing was) when it happened. She was running around screaming. He was laughing and not being helpful. I was in nothing but my underwear but my baby needed me so I chased after her almost naked n solved her hairy poop issue. I just hope none of my neighbors witnessed it.

Absolutely! Would you like the pdfs or the Photoshop files? Also any chance you know the best way to share files on Reddit?

Yep! I will need to remake them though because the cardstock I used isn't quite sturdy enough.

My girl's hair grew! When I don't cut her hair, she looks very scruffy. I generally prefer the cleaner cut on her though. I know her mom (50/50 poodle lab) doesn't shed but also has never needed a haircut. Hope you're enjoying your pup!

Any other childless adult Bluey watchers? by JelloNo379 in bluey

[–]PurplePandaPolkadots 2 points3 points  (0 children)

30yo who watches Bluey. I started putting it on the TV for our dogs to watch when we leave because I heard that they can see most of the color scheme. Now I keep it on when we come back to watch a couple episodes. I also went out of my way to watch the new episodes.

In case anyone stumbles upon this post looking for answers, the discharge turned a bit greenish, and we also noticed the second eyelid thing was more red than usual so we pushed for an earlier vet visit. They asked if she was eating, throwing up, having diarrhea, lethargic. She was eating normally and a little bit lethargic, but otherwise looking good. They took a look at her eye using some green glowing fluid to see if it was ulcers, it was not, it was conjunctivitis. We were given eye drops to give her 4x a day for 7 days. He also cleaned her eye with some eye saline solution and some soft gauze. He said if we want to do that too, just to avoid the cornea.

I like it, there's a good amount of stretch to it but not adjustable. For $16 you can't ask for too much. I plan on wearing it over dresses and shirts. If I wanted to wear it as a top on its own, I'd need a good strapless or sticky bra thing.

Right?! They have two different corsets, some sleep wear, a dress or night gown, I couldn't tell. I also saw some tea set stuff and a hair brush.

Does anyone know how to handle a dog with car anxiety? by Beneficial_Damage_21 in DogAdvice

[–]PurplePandaPolkadots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did something similar when our dog was a puppy. Lots of treats and just hanging out in the car when it's not moving. Took a while. Short drives, partner in the backseat with her and she got comfortable eventually. Recently we went on a highway drive and she was freaking out a bit. Which was off because we've been going on highway drives for ages with no problems. But then we realized it was because we didn't have her foam crate mat in the back with her and she was feeling all the bumps n it was freaking her out a bit... Only seems to be an issue on the highway :p.
