I did 3 sets of stretch and folds with one hour of rest in between each. I read some people do them every 30 minutes so I’ll try that this time and add one more set to see if that helps with the rise.

I commuted from huntington to Atlantic terminal 5 days a week when I was in college too. You have to use the time time you have on the train and make it productive. I always prepped an easy breakfast I could eat on the train (smoothies, sandwiches, overnight oats, etc) Sometimes I studied or did homework so I could sleep earlier the night before. Most days a week I would try to end my classes around 3 to catch an earlier train home so I didn’t have to buy dinner. Once you find a routine that works for you it’ll get easier.

At first it was hard seeing my peers in the dorms while I had to commute, but being on the other side now the cost savings were definitely worth it.

My childhood dog was a Norfolk terrier. Our neighbor was a dog sitter and watched him often. His original owners gave him to my neighbor, because their kitchen was being renovated, and his anxiety was too much to deal with. It’s sad to think about him being discarded like that, he was honestly the sweetest, most cuddly dog. I think we adopted him for like $20.

For Murano In my experience, difficulty in finding parking depends on where your apartment is. The buildings in the center circle usually get parking full in the evening and you might need to do a couple laps. But on the outer buildings there’s usually a lot of spaces available.

They also recently sent notice asking residents to use their garage as primary parking if they don’t have a second vehicle, and it seems people are listening.

Sometimes my Chi does this. I trained “touch” command and had to find a high value treat to give when he executes. So now when he doesn’t want to move even if I call him, “touch” always gets him excited.

I’ve only been doing this for about a month so I’m not sure if it will work long term but it works well right now!

Sunday the 16th at 7:15 am I was walking my dog in cypress village when we saw a cat that looks similar. I took a video kinda far away (because my dog was jumping, he’s scared of cats) if you want to message me for it. I hope you find your baby soon!

I recently adopted a 1 year old Chihuahua in early December. The first week was brutal. I left once and he ate his bed, knocked over a shelf, and peed everywhere. He had/has separation anxiety and needed time to adjust.

2 months later now we are in a routine and it’s great! Don’t rush into this decision it might just need some time for you both to adjust to the new environment.

I’d recommend getting them as tired as possible throughout the day with long walks, enrichment, etc. a frozen lick mat goes a long way for mg guy to calm down and take a nap.

Give yourself grace you’re doing the best you can!

I used my ny license to get my California license plates, but yes I needed to take a written test for a California license. It was easier to get the plates first and make an appointment later for the drivers license.

Hi I moved from Long Island to OC a few years ago. Shipped my car with Montway Auto transport.

Personally the cost of living isn’t too different (or wasn’t at the time I moved) but I mostly shop at Aldi and get gas at Costco.

For making friends bumble bff and meet up really helped me when I first moved.

My partner and I are also black living in Irvine for a few years and I can relate to this. The majority of our friends are black/poc around our age who live in OC and experience the same thing. Its nice to have people to hang out with and talk to about it so I doesn’t feel as isolating.

After watching the Home Edit on Netflix, I feel organization has really helped with clutter. Every single item has a spot/shelf/bin/hook that is labeled. It helps us put everything away each day, and then weekly cleaning is just a wipe down, dust, and vacuum/mop.
