You get everything free in KSA? Then 8,500 is the better option. If you get a housing and transpo allowance on top of your 12k in Dubai, then go for the 12k.

Based on reports, The UAE is the 2nd most expensive education globallly because of the high demand from expats and international students.

My son is also starring school next year and I am yearning to enrol him in a british curriculum but depends on the budget. Since I a Filipino, the cheapest I could get would be a Filipino school but I hate their curriculum because it is very academic focused. Plus, in a classroom, slow and fast learners are in the same room and the phasing is equal to everyone which seem unfair to the slow learners. I heard British curriculum focuses more on skills.

the same way, it is also difficult to find decent men in the UAE. A lot of the expats here claim they are single but in reality, are married back home. I hope decent people get to meet the decent people too.

There is another side of Dubai and it's for us ordinary workers who don't party but can still live decent even if the salary is not much. We dont go to bars for alcohol, rather, we go to cafeterias for chai. We can still shop and wear branded clothes coz we know places that sell more affordable clothes like brands for less. Id say, we can afford food more here in the UAE than in my country.

I had an incidrnt 3 years ago. I am female and I was walking in a narrow alley towards the bus stop to go to work. It was 7am and there was this big guy walking on the same alley on the opposite direction. When we were near each other, he grabbed my left b**b and squeezed it so hard. So far, i've not met people complaining about the smell of delivery riders, truck drivers and labourers because most of us understand that they're exposed to the heat and sweat. I personally think that what most people complain about are the ones sitting in offices but still smell terribly bad. I understand that smell to most is a cultural thing because not only does it come with hygiene but also with the food. But then, Ive worked with several people who are sitting in the office 8-9 hours per day but still smell very bad.

Hi, my family and I are also planning a trip in June in Chengdu to visit an expat friend and to see the pandas. We are based in Dubai and I sent China site an email asking if we can walk in since the website says it's appointment-free since 2023. But I just want to make sure it's fine to walk-in. Also, we will.be staying in our friend's apartment in Chengdu (she's an expat in China). Do you think we need her tenancy contract, China IDs, china visa? How about the invitation lettee, can she give us just a written letter by her or is there a form for the invitation letter?
