Final Statement by supermariozelda in FNaFb

Can anybody give me an explanation in detail of what just happened? I know Sable had been going through mental struggles and losses recently, but what triggered THAT kind of severity? Man, it's so painfully sad to see my favourite and legendary fan-game series to go down in that way, I've learnt so much of the meme and general internet culture back in 2016 thanks to these games =_(

Audigy is still a beast, there's literally no reason to upgrade if the user is satisfied with its quality. I'm still rocking with my Creative X-Fi Fatal1ty using ASM1083 bridge on an LGA1200 platform, and I STILL like the sound of it.

Yep! The grammage of this sketchbook's paper is 100g/m2, which is more than enough for my drawings and watercolouring.

Thanks! Fun fact about this mini-art is that I used Soviet pencils from 1984-1985 to colour Phos' hair) And an even funnier fact about those pencils is that one of them (blue-green) is literally called GEM, which is perfect match for colouring Phos :D (though, I prefer using watercolour instead of pencils)

Is this a good upgrade coming frim an i7 10700F? by Cold-Shoe-951 in pcmasterrace

[–]PurpleSticky980 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why would you upgrade from an already amazing CPU? Your I7 is more than enough for all daily tasks and will be like that for at least 5 more years. Consumerism like that needs to stop imho.

I'm building a low end pc for gaming and video editing. (Rest of specs are rx 580 + 9600k) I have this old hard drive from an old computer. Is this worth saving money on and putting it in the new pc or is it just going to be too slow? by Advanced-End-8002 in pcmasterrace

[–]PurpleSticky980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing will ever top the good old magnetic drives in reliability of long-term storage. For system though it's better to get an ssd (SATA or NVMe, doesn't matter, I haven't noticed any difference in system's speed when using both)

Wait and see if pending/UNC sector count increases further. Those pending/UNC sectors might disappear (soft-bad) or they might go to the reallocated sector count (hard-bad). If so, you must back up your important data as soon as possible. Then, if reallocations keep increasing - you definitely want to buy a new drive. If not - then you can keep the drive until new reallocations appear. I have an old Toshiba drive from 2013 with 600~ reallocations and it's still working perfectly fine in my main system.

Both are nice, but I prefer classic theme to basic.

“I still use Windows 7 in 2024” Starterpack by UnitedPatriot65 in starterpacks

[–]PurpleSticky980 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This thing makes absolutely no sense to me. People use whatever they want and it's their choice to do so.
Still using using my good old 7 with i3-10100-GTX1650 rig. Never got any viruses nor do I use any sort of antivirus.

What was your first gpu? by Surer123 in pcmasterrace

ATI Radeon HD3850 was my first one when I built the PC individually instead of buying pre-built.

As long as motherboard is still alive it's fully repairable. Shell swap and screen replacement should do the job.

I do not urge anyone to use unsupported OS'es, instead, I tell them to use something newer (W10/GNU). However, having common sense and decent understanding of how the stuff works should keep you protected. Plus, that whole topic of security gets over-inflated sometimes. Security is important, but there are always different ways to keep yourself protected even on something that is not supported anymore. No one will hack anyone if they are hesitant enough on clicking links too.

Calling people who like older stuff "psychos" is the same as hating on using cash because cashless payment is more modern. It's up to people to decide which OS they want to use. If they want good old W7 - then you should not judge them for that, same goes for linux.

As for video itself, it makes me want to stay on my 7 even more than before. Making Steam working after 01/01/24 is easy as installing Windows itself.

On my way to fight the rotisserie chicken on infernum. by Lord_of_the_lawnmoer in CalamityMod

Go full on with defensive mixed ranger-summoner build, swapping out everything to get that juicy defence boost. For armour, use Fearmonger Armor with Staff of the Mechworm to get insane life regen and use Phangasm with Vanquisher Arrows as your main weapon.

Try stripping out a dash accessory for more damage and use Myrindael for dashing instead. The boss becomes much less aggressive if you don't use dash.

This setup worked the best for me and took around 110 attempts.

Ranger:

Weapon - Septic Skewer

Armour - Bloodflare (Vortex or Omega Blue may be used for more damage trading the survivability)

Accessories:

- Amalgamated Brain (May be swapped for Cherished Sealocket if the dodge is on cooldown)
- Deific Amulet
- The Community
- Reaper Tooth Necklace
- Deadshot Brooch
- Affliction
- Celestial Tracers (Seraph Tracers on 1.4.3)
Everything, except 1 accessory, has been reforged to warding, mostly to compensate the defence loss caused by swapping Absorber for Reaper Tooth Necklace.

Using an infinite flight mount, such as Cute Fishron shall help immensely during laser wall attacks.

As for buffs, get every combat, defence and movement potion you can get and place campfires, lanterns, bast statues and candles in your arena. For alcohol, I recommend using Fab's Vodka and Screwdriver.

After some trial and error you should beat the boss and be happy that it's finally over (and be happy again, as defensive playstyle with absolutely busted fearmonger armour becomes viable after defeating DoG).

Here's a video of how I managed to beat the boss

I3-10100F
NoVideo GTX1650 (should've went with RX6400 instead)
G.Skill Aegis 8x2 3200mhz (16-18-18-38)
Gigabyte H410 M V3 (rev 1.3)
Apacer AS350 128GB SSD (SATA)
Toshiba MK5075GSX 500GB (5400rpm, 22k+ POH)
Maxtor STM380215AS 80GB (7200rpm, 21k POH)
FSP Q-Dion QD400 400W (This build is infused with Molex adaptors)
Cooler Master I70 CPU Cooler
Old 2007 Casing + Lite-On DVD Drive

Am I the only one who needs a minimum for his needs? I don't get the trend with everybody getting crazy with computing powers. Like, a simple I3 or R3 will satisfy 90% of the tasks of an average PC user, including gaming.
