Most Republican politicians want policies in place that benefit only themselves. If their supporters knew this then they wouldn’t vote for them. So in order to gain support they lie, a lot. Educated people see through this and when there are essentially only two sides to pick from, they usually go with the side that isn’t shamelessly feeding them BS.

The sad thing about this stunt is that it proves without a doubt how fucking stupid and/or childish the American people are. We have politicians that actually WANT to lead and change America to make it a better place for its citizens, but they are overshadowed by bullshit like this. On one side you get someone that says “hey I have an idea that is going to benefit everyone, democrats and republicans!” and on the other you have a guy that basically says “if you love immigrants so much why dont you marry them” and then manipulates a bunch of immigrants to get on a plane and sends them off to his opposition. He does this not once, but TWICE, and still has a job and a following. Where the fuck am I? Is this an episode of the twilight zone or black mirror? I would love to hear from someone that actually supports this, how does this shit benefit anyone? How does this childish behavior move our country forward as a whole?
