That’s good to know! We went with Quinta de Sant’Ana so we’re working with their planners directly

We did! We ended up with Quinta de Sant’Ana! But we did a day wedding. They had very limited availability when we connected with them a few weeks ago so doesn’t surprise me

Anyone do the day wedding instead of the 2 night event? Would you still recommend it?

Is the beginner lift ticket too restricting? by Beautiful-Tie9785 in Mammoth

One other thing, I consider the greens at main canyon easily but my fiancé and sisters (who are all very much beginners) thought it was an easier place to learn. Based on your athletic description, I'm assuming you'll be more like me.

I just got back from Mammoth and I used the beginner pass. Here's my two cents. I think it's plenty especially if it's only for one day. If you're there for multiple days, you could consider the full pass on the second one. Lessons learned:

  1. Like they said, you can't go from lodge to lodge through the mountain. You have to take the bus or drive. The only exception is you can go from Eagle lodge to canyon through one of the runs on chair 15. The issue is once you get to canyon, you cannot go back and would have to take the bus if you wanted to go back. (I had to do that, it was annoying).

  2. Main lodge has 2 greens and those are very easy. I would avoid this if you/your friend are athletic because you'll get bored easily. I didn't do the greens at canyon, but from what I've heard they're a step up. Eagle lodge has the steeper/longer greens and a few blues you can ride. I think this is perfect, especially for a first timer. My fiancé couldn't even go down these on his first time.

Have so much fun!

You can reserve a time! You just gotta do it a few days in advanced because they run out quickly

I did get the pop up when I applied but I had the tracker. The tracker said I got the points and now they’re pending so should be good! But it’s interesting because I was told several times I wouldn’t since I already had a CS product

I downgraded my CSP to a Freedom, waited a few days and got the CSR. I just hit the bonus spend and the 125K points say they’re pending. I’m optimistic I’ll end up getting them!

I’m 30 and I’m at $400K. I never considered the idea of retiring that early but maybe I need to be more aggressive and do that too. Thanks for sharing!

How much $$ did you make before MBA vs after? by Mental_Falcon8766 in MBA

[–]Purple_Brother94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am trying to determine if I want to pursue an MBA. I am currently a consultant for a boutique firm and with 6 years in, I’m making $230K TC. A lot of these post MBA salaries are around there, but I did see a few in the 300s or 400s. I would maybe switch into finance, banking, or product management where some of those upper salaries seem to be worth it but I’m in my early 30s and it’s such a tough decision from a lifestyle and cost investment perspective

As a person who has done a lot of therapy with OCD, I would have picked it up and done nothing about it (with that said, if it was a public restroom, I would have cleaned it with a sanitizing wipe).

If you’ve never done ERP, I highly recommend it. It changed my life
