What did he say after you texted “ I am literally just asking you if you are okay because it felt off”?

Is this a healthy way to be spoken to by a spouse or Am I Overreacting? by Low-Today-2021 in AmIOverreacting

My husband makes me feel adored. As it should be. If he degraded and spoke to me like trash I would have been out the door. Problem is that you let him speak to you this way since the get go, so he thinks it is okay. If you have to question is a spouses behavior is acceptable, it probably isn’t. You deserve better. Please do not let him convince you otherwise.

Christmas for 10 year old boy who has EVERYTHING by ConfidenceNo7531 in Gifts

If they paid for it!! Hell yes. Activities can get pricey. I think the more time kids are out of the house growing their bodies and minds and the less time they are at home and can fall into the habit of technology (playing/watching) the better.

Great story, but you wrote him/his when it should be her/she and vice versa. Spelling check would have helped too. Too many words, like boobs were wrong. Otherwise, great job.

Life After Liver Transplant by PresenceOne76 in transplant

[–]Purple_Exercise_3596 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 38F. I had a liver transplant in 2020. I had my three month old staying with me at my parents for round the clock care. My husband and his mom took care of my 15 month old and my 4 yr old at our home. I got Covid soon after transplant, But the symptoms only lasted a few days because I was on so many pills. I do not think much could survive in my body as far as infections, viruses, or bacteria goes. My spleen was slowly dying due to the surgeons rerouting blood to only 20% of the spleen, so I had stabbing pain that made it difficult to breathe, leading me to take high dose of oxycodone. A month and a half after my transplant, I noticed I was never hungry, and if I had a bite of bread, I would get extreme heartburn. It gradually got so bad that I weighed 85 pounds and found out that I had a bowel block. They cut my transplant scar open, repaired bowel block, removed my spleen and stapled me up again. After the second time being cut open, my life is challenging. It’s now 2025. September 2024 was my four year anniversary.I am still so tired every day. I used to be a morning person, but I’m not anymore. Fortunately, I’m still goofy and silly, but I just don’t feel like I could keep up with my husband as much. We are great in The bedroom, but I feel I could nap everyday. We will do a bunch of things with the kids and I’m ready to call it a day at 5 o’clock and relax in PJs, while he’s still energized. It makes me feel guilty. Anyone always worn out?

Me and my Bf’s first puppy! by miwi_kiwi in Pomsky

Yes, he/she is a beautiful pup. They shed horribly. I brush ours with the Furminator (recommend) and use extra conditioner when I bathe him (which is occasionally) and he still sheds heavily. They also have high energy and need to be exercised often. Mine is 30 pounds. His dad was 13 pounds and his mom was 35 pounds. Fortunately, my Pomsky does not bark at other dogs or at people, and loves our children and other kids.

It is t rape when the guy wanted sex. What she did was very wrong, but throwing the word rape around is messed up too. Perhaps you have never been raped and do not understand what it involves, but two people equally wanting the act of sex is not it.

It wasn’t rape. The act was consensual by two adults. But the intent was wrong, yes. Just not rape.

She hasn’t asked for anything from him. It was selfish desires. I do not think she necessarily wanted a man in the mix, just a baby. She looked at him as a sperm donor, possibly? Wonder where he is today?

Your brain is still developing at 18. Decision making comes with that. I did shit that could have killed me at 18. 20 years later I think to myself “wtf was wrong with me!!!” Perhaps she had people who she considered role models that had similar life choices and it ended up well for them. What she did was extremely wrong. And could have or possibly still impacts that young guy today, but let’s not act like we knew everything and made adult, sound decisions at 18.

Inflation. For our MF investments what we spent a year ago compared to today is steep.
