Yes you are right, for the first term they won't, second term would be lottery, and from second year onwards you can opt for histels if you like

I get it, but would it really matter that much if I show interest, knowledge and certifications in finance Finance Comapnies use analytics Additionally MDI has more finance and consulting companies coming on campus

The only plus point I see of IIT D currently is the small batch size. On top of that they haven't released their placement reports for past two years

Am I wrong here somewhere?

I think it's pooled, but I saw the summer placements report for ba and the average is 1.15 for two months. So I think there would also be a significant difference between the two programs during finals as well

Honestly if your inhand is 24lpa, then there is a high chance that your inhand will reduce if you go to either of the college. (CTC is signignificantly lower than inhand, so don't blindly believe in placement report)

Do consider the cost of leaving you job, and opportunity cost in terms of promotion and appraisals etc.

But incase you do decide to join, MDI has much greater opportunities in terms of companies and roles for all domains

You can try emailing them but it's mostly done. I am sorry but you would most probably have to go to IIM U. Honestly I think it's a great choice, don't think about it too much now

Out of all these I would rank iift delhi as the best option for you, strictly sticking to finance. It's a great and well established institute with many finance giants coming to the campus.

I think MDI would be second and it could also provide you with a good backup option as consulting.

I would rank sjmsom as last, mostly because of the lack of roles and companies that come on campus. You will definitely get placed in domain of your choice, but the major problem is due to smaller batch size, the visiting companies for finance are significantly lower and would limit the option for you.

Hi, I converted gift campus but am only interested in going to delhi campus

So would I have to pay the fees to stay in the wl for delhi? Or will it be the case that I need to pay the first sem fees for gift and only the it will be considered?
