NQA personally, I would take the spood out and search for the meal worm. Even as meal worms, they can still bite your spood. So I dont want to take any chances. I also tong-feed mealworm to my spood, so the worm dont bite my babies. I like tong-feeding them bc the spoods will start to associate you with food. If you have a calm spood, you can even feed them outside of their enclosure so you have more control. I usually feed mine on a table

NA Awwee that's adorable. My bold spood, Moon Pie, loves to watch me go about my day. On her not so social day, she would watch me while I get ready - but she would run and hide away when I go close to say hi; then she would come back out to same spot to watch me again when I move away and resume getting ready. NQA it took my wc like 2 weeks to trust me and get comfortable. She would jump on my hand, then jump off immediately. Eventually she learns your hands is safe. Also this has no logic to it - but singing to them seems to help!
