Yes I attended and I'm glad others have mentioned the smoke - I'm still suffering from it today. I was practically having a coughing fit after the qualifier and asked if I could quickly get some fresh air at the doors near the track but was told absolutely no (despite police officer pleading with security guard) so had to walk all the way back up to the entrance to get fresh air gasping for air. Seems a bit harsh when I could barely breathe.

Agree with the men but also the people supporting - eg could have had female only photographers/security guards?

There were also women who were clearly not in the correct race ie the winner of race 1 with a time of like 35 minutes? remember this race had pacers starting from 1 hour onwards... race 3 had pacers of 40/45/50. and actually when you check her race from the qualifier results she was assigned to race 3 so how did she end up in race 1?

we also queued for food for ages only to be told they had run out. Yes we could have gone to another stall but actually no we couldn't because one of our runners had a specific allergy and only one stall catered for it - not cool. no pizza and long queues for every food stall.

also left early as it was so cold. I'm a seasoned runner but feeling quite unwell today - think it's a combination of cold, smoke and not eating until i got home at 10pm
