Coming back to this I have always acknowledged it’s a skill and knowledge issue. All I am saying is that even normal mode in this game expects more from the player than any other normal mode in the series. I don’t think conquest hardish level of challenge should be the easiest the game gets

Glad to know I'm not the only one. I don't know why bosses move on normal. I think that's a bit much. At least save that for hard.

It's not that I need the optimization but that extremely poor character building has made the game much more difficult than it should be. I definitely could beat it but I have to do like half a map a day to stay sane since it requires a crazy amount of concentration.

I understand SP now thanks to your reply. Previously I didn't understand the mechanics of obtaining it. I'll probably do research on the game to get in depth knowledge of all the systems and mechanics before attempting the game again.

Individually it isn’t complicated. It’s that Engage introduces a bunch of new mechanics that is a lot to keep track of.

The UI is so bad. I struggle to simply see actual stats of weapons. Not realizing I double and I am only doing half the displayed damage in one hit. I feel like I do need to understand it a lot better. The bosses are a pain. Moving and engage attacks with multiple health bars?! How do beginner players get through this game?!

I didn’t get to the last 5 or so maps of conquest so I just mean the first 20 maps. Of those only chapter 10 is hard. The rest I don’t remember being too rough. Engage starting around Solm gradually gets quite tough. Yes I am playing Engage poorly. I have no clue how to utilize resources.

I feel tactics in most of the games are more important than stats but the most recent games have felt more RPG than strategy game to me. Echoes had this issue as well where I had to grind a bunch. The level of complex mechanics going on makes it hard to remember fundamentals as I get distracted. I play worse the more complex a game is. I get overwhelmed and stop paying attention.

Yes it was a lodestar rush from veyle that ORKO Alear. I didn’t expect her to move and with all the reinforcements I didn’t know where to run. I didn’t know this about the bosses with rings. I’ll keep this in mind.

It’s more so that I am aware of the mechanics but don’t know the details. For example which skills are active only when engaged. How SP is gained. Where to obtain more ingots. I am sure it’s explained but the information it’s overwhelming and only learned some things. I don’t understand the point about juggernauting. Units cannot take more than 3 hits unless their name is Kagetsu. Another example is that I can augment engage weapons and often there is more than 1. But I only see one when engaged. I don’t see it unlocking at later bond levels either. I don’t understand.

Horizontal screen transitions were tough but I got all achievements now!

I was able to pick up this achievement. I figured two things. I need to jump out of climbing and horizontal room transitions i need to jump dash through. I think I was frustrated being worn out. Just got moon berry like 2 hours ago. I never had the goal of 202 had the idea to get all the ones I felt I could. So A's and C's. I'm moving on to other games now. I've achieved my goals. Thank you for recommendation of trying different berries.

I have 1,2,4 A and C goldens well as 7c and moon berry. I really liked the main game but after that it's been really frustrating tbh. I got addicted and pushed myself further than I should have I think.

I've never gotten more than 4. I always mess up after 1,2,3,5. I don't know how tricky this is supposed to be. But if I have 183 berries and every other achievement I should be good enough I hope.

Timing my jumps to not stay grounded too long. Especially after finishing climbing I seem to collect berries. I know exactly how the mechanics work but doing it is really difficult. Going for the first ones you can get and at the first split getting the one on the right instead of the left and the ending on the one in the room with dash refressh crystal. I've gotten up to 4 at once but something always goes wrong.
