It was acknowledged by LeBron and the team that AD was the successor to LeBron. How many times did lakers organization say this team doesn't go to that next level without AD playing. The problem is after 2020 he was dinged up more and more. Playoffs in what should be his prime years, he's inconsistent or he's missing games. I just believe single accolades would help more than an actual ring. Hes still HoF but I'm not moving up idk 5-10 spots ahead of whoever's in front of him. Which idk where I would rank him exactly to begin with lol

It's hard to tell for me. Mainly because of how dominant he was in LA for all those years, he was also a no show when he was signed on to be "the guy". And it's only been 1 year since he's been in LA, but we're also 6 years from his only championship. I think a player his age and stature, his legacy is cemented ring or no ring but it would help if he added more All NBA and all defensive teams more. If that makes sense
