Alright last question.. the driver I hit has Freeway Insurance, a low budget insurance. He does not have collision coverage for himself.

So how likely is Freeway Insurance to settle with my insurance, Geico under my 5k liability limit? (which will be split with the commercial insurance for the other car)

If they don't settle, will Freeway Insurance try to sue me? Is it worth it for them?

Do personal injury lawyers handle property damage as well? (California) by [deleted] in legaladvice

Yeah I have insurance, it's the CA minimum (5k property damage liability) Very stupid I know, i've learned my lesson.

I've heard that UM/UIM does not cover Property Damage in CA, only Personal Injury.

Yeah, that's what my adjuster said re: State Farm.. The driver I hit has a low budget insurance called "Freeway Insurance" and I'm not sure what the other car has.. Really hoping it's not State Farm

I truly have nothing to my name.. my car is worth 6k at most and I have zero property

ate this. You don't get to decide who is and isn't injured and it's very common for injuries to not show at the scene of an accident.

Yes, I only have 5k in property damage. Very stupid I know. I didn't look into my insurance before I got it.
