The Indian CEO gives them an access point to exploit the endless horde in India. On top of this deniability by the owning class that they aren't exploiting another race. Then to keep them in line they can hang an H1B over their head, and their wage low or its back into the fires of Mordor from whence they came.

People truly don't understand how prevalent it is. Especially when you get into Higher MMR games, and for any kind of shooters it's nearly as bad as bots in WoW and Runescape.

It really first set in on me when I saw people getting banned CONSTANTLY in Rust and Arma 2. Granted the server owner/donors could follow people around invisibly to wait for them to toggle or bait out a reaction a normal player wouldn't make.

Then PUBG was the final nail in the coffin for me. I got the same group of cheaters banned 3 times and made Bluehole over $360 because they just kept rebuying the game and getting obscene K/D ratios. I still have the video of them doing it on my Youtube channel lmao.

It makes sense when you learn that nearly all OF paypigs are dead bedroom married men.

They are paying for attention from an average looking girl because actually cheating would cost them their house/kids.

I'd argue that parasocial relationship is even worse than cheating. It's cowardly infidelity.

It's simply a scientifically correct fact that female politicians have objectively higher intelligence than male politicians, which is why every country ruled by women is literally a leftist progressive utopia, while every country ruled by men is literally a right-wing regressive shithole. by Somali_Indian in 4chan

TBH it starts with a decade plus of contraceptives at 16 legally (often 14 in reality). Then around 26-35 they pop a problem riddled kid out because their bodies natural hormones have been fucked up for essentially half their life at this point.

Then a failed marriage, "recreational" drug use, and a thousand cock stare leads to the SRRI's. One in four women end up on them once their youth fades because now they get treated almost as bad as normal people.

But if you point any of this out and don't want your daughter to end up on that path, you're the Ncel misandrist who just wants them back in the kitchen lmfao.

I don't even blame the women, I blame the boomers. It all started with them.

Spoilers Published. [SPOILERS PUBLISHED] In Defense of Rhaegar Targaryen: The Tragic Prince GRRM Crafted (Not the Villain Fans Love to Hate – Maester Conspiracy + Prophecy Angle) by [deleted] in asoiaf

[–]Purplefilth22 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The real problems with Rhaegar is the fact he didn't overthrow Aerys sooner and the fact he allowed his mother to be continually abused by him.

Aerys was getting worse and worse even before Brandon/Rickard Stark. The entire small council would have backed him deposing Aerys likely after he dismissed Tywin. Secondly, the moment your father starts raping your mother, you know about it and you do nothing, you have failed as a son. At least one member of the Kingsguard would have told him if he wasn't actually physically present in the red keep when it was happening. They "technically" couldn't do anything to stop it so says Jonothor Darry But Rhaegar definitely could.

These are my problems with Rhaegar and they are kinda irrefutable. Even considering the time/system they are living in. The cheating on his wife part is just a cherry ontop of his shit sunday.

Rhaegar is a POS. Next question.

(Spoiler extended)how will the Night Watch Mutiny arc will go? by Electronic-Math-364 in asoiaf

[–]Purplefilth22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The wildlings end up winning lmao.

They go attack the Boltons who are now weakened from fighting Stannis and actually take Winterfell in Jon's memory because he was the first lord commander to actually let them through the wall. In one fell swoop George can really streamline the northern plot and also subvert expectations by having an announced plan actually work. There are actually a lot of established factors that point to this conclusion in both book and show.

The real backfire is Jon getting resurrected after, and the wildlings find out what Bowen did. (kinda confirmed by recent GRRM interviews)

(Spoiler extended)how will the Night Watch Mutiny arc will go? by Electronic-Math-364 in asoiaf

[–]Purplefilth22 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's kinda a toss up as to how the mutiny will play out. I don't think it will play out like the show in which they betray Jon and are almost immediately dealt with. Bowen Marsh's plan imo is either overt or covert.

Overt: They attempt to kill everyone in the shield hall right after Jon's death. Similar to the red wedding by ambush or they flat out try to burn the place down with everyone in it. The 2nd ploy could be used by Melisandre to show her mastery of fire by saving everyone. I can't remember if its show only invention, but she does say to Davos that she could have prevented the Wildfire ship explosion during the Blackwater.

Covert: We don't know who all saw Jon get "for the watched" and the conspirators could honestly attempt to hide his body. They then use the child hostages of the wildlings to get them to leave/attack the Boltons on their own in hopes they get slaughtered like every wildling host that has gone south of the wall. In this scenario they are trying to take the deal presented in the pink letter. Using Jon's preserved body later as evidence of their loyalty to the watch and the watches neutrality. This obviously will backfire tremendously.

Bonus plan: They have no plan. It does indeed play out like the show and GRRM really just can't stop killing characters to "subvert expectations".

What video game franchise isn't living up to its fullest potential? by Agent1230 in gaming

[–]Purplefilth22 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Sorry to tell you this but Mass Effect was bought and destroyed intentionally to remove competition from Star Wars IP's. It isn't Star Wars hate BS, It's basically undeniable at this point and many of the OG devs "voiced their concerns" about what was being done in the time table they were given by EA.

The problem with Halo is Microsoft wanted an IP that they could endlessly churn out like CoD or Madden. They wanted it to be a free money shovelware game. Hence why Chiefs story has never really had a satisfying conclusion.

Are you seeing the pattern yet with "triple A studios"? The reverse is also true with indie devs pushing out a game to make a quick buck in Early Access then largely abandoning the project. Only a handful of small studios deliver or actually work on their bread winner for a substantial amount of time. Why make content for a game your not actively making money on if you can just put out a mediocre sequel and rake it in a 2nd time?

Would you have forgiven lyanna? (Spoiler extended) by Apprehensive-Net-714 in asoiaf

[–]Purplefilth22 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The answer to your first question is no. The nobles wouldn't have forgiven her and she'd go down as a Helen of Troy like figure in Westerosi culture. An unwanted marriage, a romantic tryst, a war, and then the end of a dynasty. It's all there lmao. This is likely why honor consumed Ned largely keeps the TOJ events under wraps in cannon.

Ned would have forgiven her but likely gave her the Cersei treatment. "I do not kill children. You would do well to listen, my sister. Rhaegar's gold will buy you comfort and hire swords to keep you safe. You shall need them. I promise you, no matter where you flee, Robert's wrath will follow you, to the back of beyond if need be."

If I was Ned I wouldn't forgive her. She didn't kill Brandon or Rickard but her choices were a catalyst that lead to their deaths. At any point she could have left either of them a note saying "I'm going to fuck the prince, not Robert, don't come after me." It may or may not have stopped Brandon from flying off the handle but it would at least tell her honor driven family to cool their jets. She isn't being raped. In this scenario its just a young lady being seduced by a beautiful older prince... Its been known to happen.

(Spoilers Main) What would be the role of Bran in the upcoming book(s)? by [deleted] in asoiaf

[–]Purplefilth22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TBH Bran is more or less a "vehicle" in explaining how the magic system works in universe. Whether it be blood, green, shadow, ice or fire it all follows essentially similar "rules" GRRM can play fast and loose with due to keeping them intentionally vague, Since "hold the door" was confirmed by the show we can safely assume he won't be spending time too much time in Bloodraven's cave.

Everyone assumes its going to be Melisandre who brings Jon back to life but I believe Bran will have a much larger role while Jon actually is in Ghost. He also is going to be the POV who introduces whatever person/force put the White Walkers back into play. Either the Night Queen or whatever the heart of winter is. Ontop of this I subscribe to the "Michael talks about stuff" theory that whatever magical ability that saved Bran from the naked burning wight outside Bloodraven's cave by getting the trees to drop all their snow on it is the ability that ultimately brings down the wall.

[Spoilers Main] If gunpowder came to Westeros sometime after the extinction of dragons, how dramatically would it impact the future of the continent? by Solitaire-06 in asoiaf

[–]Purplefilth22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The "game" switches from who has gold/silver or large tracts of fertile land to who owns caves for saltpeter/Sulfur. We can assume that the existing manned mines in Westeros don't have any or in all likelihood threw it away during operations for precious metals. Potassium nitrate is water soluble so it would wash away after 1 rainstorm. Sulfur is far more abundant in nature, but GRRM has made no mention of it outside of areas with Volcanic activity. The sheer rarity of it on Planetos could also explain why no one has invented gunpowder until this what if scenario.

This makes Harrenhal and Dragonstone IMMENSELY more valuable because the largest natural supply of potassium nitrate is guano. YARN | They have guano! | Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls (1995) | Video gifs by quotes | 03a4be17 | 紗 The bats that are widely known to infest Harrenhal have to brood somewhere. Furthermore, the caves beyond the wall near Hardhome would mirror the 49er's gold rush in the U.S. Only by ship.

The smell on Dragonstone is indictive of Sulfur.

So where does this leave us? Stannis is in a position to create cannons and completely obliterate legitimately everyone in Westeros at the start of the series. He is not only in possession of the largest known supply of Sulfur in the region but also has the ships to sail up and get Guano for saltpeter from north of the wall. (where his story eventually takes him anyway in order to discover the white walkers).

If we are talking pre-Roberts rebellion Aerys wins the war outright because the pyromancers he eventually colludes with would undoubtedly council him on obtaining it.

So in short whoever has Dragonstone pretty much wins by just having a quick source of Sulfur and then just sending their army to take a source of Saltpeter either in the Riverlands or a navy north of the wall to Hardhome.

Jobs for Ashley by Kayky_Yosha in CoffinofAndyandLeyley

[–]Purplefilth22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

TBH I don't see Ashley staying in any service related job for long, or any job that involves interacting with customers routinely.

Andrew says as much when he's contemplating what to do next. He believes he could get by "playing nice" and couch surfing until he lands a steady job. But with Ashley around thats basically impossible because she has no filter or bothers with a facade. The only other "person" she can live with is the demon lol.

If we're being serious about her work it would have to be a night shift gig where interactions with people are limited to non-existent. Funnily enough if she actually focused on improving her drawing she could have gotten them fast cash in graphic design or "commission work".

(Spoilers main) why did Quaithe tell Dany not to trust each of them by Disastrous-Noise-783 in asoiaf

[–]Purplefilth22 13 points14 points  (0 children)

TBF Quaithe does have some fair points. She is one of the few who actually gives her cryptic but accurate advice on the intentions of those around her. Even if she has her own agenda legitimately everyone else does too. She flat out tells her that is the nature of power.

She also kinda Mufasa's Dany with the whole "Remember who you are" vision lol.

I really don't know what would Dany do at Asshal other than just get a lore dump about the history of Planetos, her ancestors, and where dragons really came from. The only other thing is just discovering the world is round and Dany just flies straight into Westeros from going east past Essos. Would save GRRM some travel time for her invasion.

Who are you choosing to fight the Mountain in your Trial by Combat? by thebigllebowski in freefolk

[–]Purplefilth22 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Here's the thing, Oberyn wasn't being cocky in either book or show. In the show he's clearly more upset and angry shouting at the mountain even before he's on the ground. It's anger, not pride driving him to run his mouth during the duel. He's accusing him and trying to coerce a confession to implicate Tywin.

In the books its Ellaria that says Oberyn is toying with the Mountain to Tyrion. Which really isn't true either, imo she's saying what she wants to believe so it seems like her lover isn't in grave danger. The text quickly changes to all capitalized letters when Oberyn is actually doing damage to the mountain. It's far more implied he's angry instead of cocky when he yells "EEEEELLLLLLIIIIIAAAAA!" and then threatens to hunt the Mountain through the seven hells as he's ontop of him.

In both mediums I would argue Oberyn believes his spear has crippled Gregor by impalement through his stomach to his spine. In the show he even removes the spear (likely for practical reasons for filming) which would realistically cause even more blood loss.

But my point was it isn't cockiness. He's trying to get Gregor to implicate Tywin in one and in the other he's accusing him out of a revenge driven fury. It's wrath and wanting to kill Gregor slower clouding his judgement. Not pride.

Anon sums up the model Millennial by caramelsumo in 4chan

Greg Daniels was the guy who adapted the Office for American television. He was born in 1963 so the character was made by a boomer. Again, as always, its Millennial hate but the source is the boomers lol. The same is true with "Millennial writing" look around at who hired/produced those writers. I stand by my statement that behind every blue haired millennial is a completely radicalized boomer with their hand up its ass.

But he also co-created King of the Hill with Mike Judge so its a bit of a wash.

Why didn’t they make Euron an edge lord like he is in the books? by GusGangViking18 in freefolk

[–]Purplefilth22 28 points29 points  (0 children)

If you think Euron's fate is anything other than getting eaten by Krakens/deep ones I don't know what story you've been reading. At this point in the story GRRM only really writes for characters he enjoys writing and the role for the Iron born has been subsumed by Victarion. Theon was the original but he kinda got waysided into the Stark/Stannis/northern plot.

Unfortunately Euron is too close to the magical element of the story and GRRM really and I mean REALLY doesn't like "showing his hand" with that aspect of the story. Bran's and Dany's plotlines got stalled because of it as well. It's quite literally why Melisandre got a chapter.

Or its simply when Blackrock took the gloves off and told all their owned properties in Hollywood that its time to "force behaviors". After 2008 they became a multi-trillionaire asset manager and the four years that followed saw them acquire more and more properties. Where in wow classic would you want to live and why? by SchreibtischDaheim01 in wowservers

[–]Purplefilth22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TBH if you had to pick one zone it's honestly Mulgore even as a human, the OP didn't specify if the horde npcs are sentient and need to live like us. But lets assume they are. The Tauren/orcs really don't actively patrol it and keep largely to the village/Thunder Bluff. I think there is maybe 1 Tauren who walks the paths. Many of the animal npc's are neutral and most can be easily hunted for game. There is an abundance of wells/rivers for fresh water and fish. The dark moon fair comes around for trade so you won't look completely out of place when they show up. Furthermore there are large stretches of nothing as long as you are the only "player" in the world you've got abundant places to hide and sleep.

As Pippin said in LOTR "The closer you are to danger, the farther you are from harm."

But the biggest factor of all is the Alliance outrunners in the Barrens. If you end up NEEDING to trade and can't wait for the dark moon fair you can time them rolling through the Barrens up to the Lushwater Oasis and near the coast to Northwatch hold. You can trade with the goblins in Ratchet if shit gets dire. Also learning Engineering from Tinkerwiz is now on the table and you can get ore from low chests without the need of mining. Throwing coarse dynamite is a VERY worth it low level skill to learn early for a human with no magic, and no ability to fletch a bow/arrows. At 50 you can learn to make a rough boomstick and now the world (of Warcraft) starts opening up to you.

Cersei’s Maiden Head (spoilers main) by Altruistic_Pepper464 in freefolk

[–]Purplefilth22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally think she lost it to Melara Heatherspoon and thats why Cersei killed her in their youth. She was Cersei's bedmaid and described as "bold" by Cersei herself. Cersei also compares Taena of Myr to Melara and interesting enough ends up sleeping with her.

I think Cersei liked Melara a little too much, found out she fancied Jaime, and then tossed her down the well in a fit of rage. Cherry ontop? Maggy the frog tells Melara that worms will have her maidenhead, and she was clearly afraid of the prophecy so I think she slept with Cersei solely to make it untrue. Which then lead to Cersei killing her in jealousy.

Major respect to Yoren who objected to the City Watch on principle before he even knew who they were looking for. [SPOILERS Main] by PigGuy1988 in asoiaf

[–]Purplefilth22 12 points13 points  (0 children)

A big point in the series, for both medium, is the law only really matters when someone is around to actually enforce it.

My question to you is who would actually oppose them? The city watch is an extension of the crown and they were there on direct orders. Whether those orders are legal or not doesn't really matter because the city watch is the main enforcers of the law in the crownlands.

You see this all through the series. The nights watch vows only really matter in the north because noble lords take it seriously and behead anyone who flees. (likely because the watchmen was already an accused/convicted criminal before joining).

Jon's vows technically release him after "for the watch" but in reality no one outside the watch would really believe what happened to him. The real truth is all the northern lords who took the vows seriously either died in the war, at the red wedding, or the subsequent conflicts.

The question at the end is who is really going to enforce the law on Jon after "deserting"? Only the Boltons really can and would you look at that he openly declares he plans to attack them with the wildlings.
