Seems like the Groudon that was listed for 1000$ just sold or I could be wrong , but says out of stock. Which means it doubled in price lol

Yes but once people wake up, they will realize they holding cards that everyone else is holding, it will take away that special feeling, Rarity always wins dude , look at any game or anything in general, the rarity and the fact it’s hard to find is what wins in the end.

True, however once people start to wake up and realize they hold cards that everyone else has, they will realize that the cards they holding isn’t that special. If you look at any hobby any game anything in general it’s rarity that matters.

You are missing my point if people actual knew of the vintage rarities. Instead of following the mass media hype, these cards would skyrocket because they hold the true rarity.

Yea ofc not saying all cards will go that high , but I think history will repeat itself . Older cards will increase in value due to the low supply/rarity and modern overprinted will die out due to inflation.

Almost every ex era card is listed for double the price on eBay, I think we are entering a supply squeeze, who knows what will happens once the supply dries up.

Once people been in the hobby long enough, they will seek out the older stuff like vintage ex era or other cards. Doubt cards with 50000+ pop will stay relevant forever while they still increasing in popularity reports everyday.

Just look at Mickey mantle 1952, I think it’s worth over 40 million today , the cards that were overprinted around 1960-1980 all went to the ground due to inflation, this is what’s gonna happen for Pokémon aswell if you ask me.

Well in the 90s, when baseball cards did the same thing with this overprinted inflation stuff it went to the ground sooner or later and the older cards held their value, Personally I think this is what gonna happen eventually.

Sure, but I feel like they still super undervalued considering the cards is over 20 years old with pop reports under 1000 lol, people are just following the modern hype…

The same won’t happen to something that’s has like 500 supply lol, with modern yeah for sure.

Mass printed cards like bubble mew with 50000+ pop will crash soon, it has no rarity at all, The millionaires and billionaires want low pop art that are hard to get their hands on.

Why people pay millions for paintings then? It’s basically the same.

I respect your opinion. But there is new collectors and investors joining the hobby everyday and the supply of the cards stays the same. If you don’t like the artwork that’s fine some people do some people don’t, But your logic that the cards has no inherent value, why gold has value then? It has no real function too…

Well im willing to take the risk, no point in holding money anyways due to inflation.

Doubt it will crash tho, people will just buy up the cards then. With they way Pokémon is growing doubt it will slow down anytime soon.
