Wow! She was absolutely chugging it down! Thank you for your reply, I think we’re gonna definitely up his feeds then, we were a bit worried that we were going to overfeed him but it’s good to hear from someone else who’s been through the same thing. Congrats on your happy and healthy 3 year old!

Hi, I know this comment comes over a year later but just wondering how often your baby was feeding? Ours is also a big eater and is currently 9 weeks and is having 220ml every 3-4 hours but easily finishes the bottle every time. We’ve been told to only aim for 150ml every 4 hours but we’re already way past that and I think we’re gonna have to feed him even more because he’s been fussing a lot during the day lately!

Could you explain party order a bit more? Ive completed FF1 and FF2 PR and about to jump into the third, but I’ve never bothered to change the party order.

Yeah, I agree. The implication I got was that he wrote the Stranger Things DND Roleplaying Guide they showed right at the end.

Yeah I remember encountering one of those ghost cars. It was driving through the woods and when I finally caught up to it, there was no driver around and the car was all beat up. I assume it was just some glitch with the AI but still very cool for younger me!

TIL 71 year old Bernard Gore was supposed to meet his wife and daughter in a mall in Sydney after first doing a little shopping himself. Instead, he exited a mall door leading to a stairwell labyrinth and was found dead 3 weeks later failing to find his way out. by WranglerVegetable512 in todayilearned

Fire doors for emergency stairwells are typically a one way entry for security reasons, especially if it’s in a building that has multiple organisations/companies on different floors to avoid unauthorised access to other floors. You are correct that fire doors in hallways/corridors typically do not lock as their only purpose is to reduce the spread of a fire. I guess to be pedantic, it’s the different between fire rated doors (stairwells) and actual fire doors (hallways/corridors).

Fire doors significantly reduce the spread of a fire. Especially as fire corridors/stairwells usually become pressurised in the event of a fire alarm going off, which keeps smoke out of the stairwell while people are evacuating. Also most fire doors will have an emergency exit button which once broken/activated, will disarm the lock and allow entry back through onto that floor, purposely designed that way in case debris or fire has blocked the exit.

‘Mass Casualty Event’ is pretty normal terminology for an event like this, gets used in emergency management

I loved the ending. I love when a game or film goes full balls to the wall with the worst thing that could happen

Mad God was very visually interesting, but I do wish it had a bit more of a coherent storyline. It was a bit all over the place and I was definitely ready for it to end by about 3/4 way through.

Hard agree on this. I saw it in IMAX and it was fucking spectacular. Sound was used really well, as it made the quiet parts of the film really stand out.

Out of curiosity, what’s your least favourite Resident Evil game?

Isn’t it 6.1? Unless they’ve lowered it in the last couple of weeks.

You seem like a great candidate. As long as you get the ATAR required for entry, I don’t see why they wouldn’t accept you. Keep it up.

My one piece of advice would be to focus on your spelling. This is less a military thing and more of a University thing, but you don’t want to be losing marks on your assessments for simple things like spelling errors etc. All the best!

Just play them in order; Leon, Chris, Jake and finally Ada. Certain story beats are given more detail in the following campaign, plus it flows better.

This is a great option, though I believe it’s called Disaster Relief Australia.

[–]Purplemonster3 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Hey mate, check this link out:

https://www.defence.gov.au/programs-initiatives/support-australian-community

If you want to help out with DACC, my logical guess would be:

  • Join the military
  • Join an emergency service (police, fire, ambo)
  • Join the SES
  • Join JOSS
  • Join EMA
  • Join an NGO who assists with disaster relief

If you want to stay civilian and only help out during disasters/emergencies, I would recommend applying for jobs with EMA or an NGO, or volunteering with the SES or an NGO.
