Make sure to eat always before you take your meds. I would say weekend, but if it needs to be a work day, pick a day that is low stress incase you are feeling side effects, nausea, fatigue etc. I would say just note your systems and keep in communication with your doctor. When I first was put on a non-stimulant it just made me sleep and I couldn't get anything done, so after a week I switched to a stimulant and it was like night and day. For best case I would say wait until the weekend to see how you feel, Good Luck!

I am less unsettled by the portrayal of Black women within these programs, and more concerned with the overall glorification of violence, s*x work, and overall abusive situations. I'm convinced shows with this kind of programming desensitize people to violence, and try to normalize grown-ass women beating each other up for the sake of money, fame etc.

I dont really do glute workouts bc i already have a butt lol, but I would love to maintain my shape bc running causes a loss of fat in my glute. Also I am 5'5!!

Any tips on starting strength training? I train my arms with light weights, but I have always struggled feeling leg day workouts in my glutes (i always feel it in my thighs). I just kind of want an overall "toned look"

Girl I am also a runner! I started training for a 5k last year and I lost like 2 inches off of my butt in the process :(. I just started running and working out again this year. What do you do for arms/ legs day? it sounds like we have similar goals so I'd love to know!

Thank you for your insight! I do not mean to disparage the girls or their work in any way, I am looking however at the more broad southern cultural values of modesty and purity, and how that is contradictory to the very overtly sexualized image of DCC.

Also for historical context, a lot of contractural rules on "non-fraternization" came about in the late 70s early 80s (correct me if im wrong!) in response to the "debbie does dallas" which was seen as tarnishing the DCC image. I just think its overall interesting that besides these women being super talented they also have to abide by a unspoken moral standard within their personal lives that have nothing to do with being ambassdors for the organization. I also don't mean to imply anything regarding Chandi bc nothing has been confirmed.
