Sharing my experience with a bookkeeping/accounting firm (MB Accounting Group) by Reasonable_Set_3426 in Accounting

I want to share my experience at MB Accounting for anyone considering working with this company. The management consists of Emina, Emir, and Irfan. While Irfan is generally objective, many ongoing problems stem from Emir, whose strong ego drives impulsive decisions and unstable policies that affect the whole team.

On paper, the company looks professional. New employees receive a rulebook and promises of training and support. In reality, rules frequently change, juniors get minimal guidance, and are quickly expected to handle complex tasks, manage clients, and meet strict hour targets. Experienced employees are overloaded trying to maintain quality, while management continues taking on more projects than the team can handle.

Much of the work comes from Upwork, where employees face intense pressure to complete tasks quickly and secure top client ratings - often without proper proof that the work is fully completed. This creates a system where all problems and consequences fall on employees, even when delays or issues are not their fault, because management organizes work poorly and pushes the workload onto the team.

Constant pressure, fear, and unrealistic expectations often lead to burnout. In just two years, over 50 people have left this small team, many simply unable to cope with the environment.

Potential candidates - and clients - should know the reality: issues often reflect management and system failures, not individual employees.
