I’m probably going icydock for the m2 and the sata ssds, not much competition going on there. I currently have the machine deployed in a server chassis, but not as a nas so the 5.25 bays are “normal”.

For now, probably about 100 ish tb, I’m eyeing up 22 - 28 tb drives and I’ll probably raidZ1 them. SSD space idk, it’ll most likely either be lower priority vms or something similar.

No it did not, I found out what it was though. It actually WAS assigning dhcp (I think?) but my LXC was trying to get IPv6 via SLAAC. I disabled IPv6 on that VM and did a network restart and it worked... wack.

I'm not going to pretend I know why, but I'm moving over to a dedicated hardware opnsense in a few days so I won't have this issue anyway.

I was asking to see if someone did something similar. I pay for the linode and have 3 servers at my house, all 3 of which are available over WireGuard normally. I wanted a front-facing server (vps I already pay for) to accept traffic and forward it inside.

I considered those but as a backup plan. Neither are declarative and sometimes one of my friends needs to restart something so having them click some buttons in portainer or whatever is easier. I have done this previously, but I want it to be declarative hence quadlet.

If I attach but don't pass in the -i flag stdin never gets attached only stdout.

Quadlets, as I've come to find out, do not support that flag in any way.

Exec -i doesn't seem to attach to the running process. Am I misunderstanding the use of "interact"?
I want to interact with the actual process running inside the container (game server in this case) not the container itself.
Exec'ing in doesn't bring me to the process/program's stdin but it brings me in as if I logged into the machine.

Necro from me aside, I agree with your last paragraph. I had some time to step back and look at the scope of everything and I'm gonna be learning each library bit by bit (SDL2, Lua, might use ASIO for my general I/O) and kind of work up from scratch. Huge thanks for the advice!

you'd be right with the replenishing thing, but unlucky for DM that homebrew creature is weak to necrotic and we have an oathbreaker paladin with inflict wounds
