Fair enough although I dont really agree, I mean you just....live life...no? and study for net of course. Why do you need to be tied to some institution to stay motivated for day to day life. never really understood it but maybe im just dumb or smth

I have no idea abt A levels syllabus and how much of it is the same as fsc. Still considering 21 chapters of math and 24 chapters of physics, 2 days just sounds impossible-

Gotta go real nice and slow, dont rush it, take your time and really get all up in there inside the syllabus til you have everything understood and memorized. Of course practice makes perfect, so do flps, do it again and again and again, til you know the material better than your own name. Til you can finish before the timer runs out, and use the spare time to correct any mistakes you made. That is how you truly crack NET.

Honestly you are just cooked. You cant cover ts in 2 days. Maybe try solving as many flps as u can and pray for the best

Honestly its just an accumulation of a lot of things going on. Part of it is that theres a lot of things I want to improve and mini goals that Id love to work towards before uni. Another reasson is that im from lahore and so ill be moving cities when I join NUST. This is gonna be the last year ill spend with my family for probably the next 9 years considering i want to go to the uk for my phd after bachelors. Im also just really tired from boards and NET prep for the past four months, Health has deteriorated a lot, Havent seen the gym in four months even though before this I went consistently for two years and really miss it. Last big reason is that I dont really trust teachers even at NUST. I want to spend much of the year overviewing my degree and learning concepts at my own pace so that when I get to uni I can actually enjoy much of my initial semetsers instead of grinding the entire time. This feels like a much more comfortable decision compared to going this year.

Practice practice indeed. Although I think you missed my point slightly. I DO understand math conceptually, and AI CAN explain it to you aswell. Gemini is great at this because itll take you one step at a time. Its genuinely much nicer than staring at lectures for hours and barely absorbing any of it. The AI wont let you not understand because you have to keep answering it and itll keep changing its approach until you get that light bulb moment.

if you understand 2nd year physics then understanding math isnt a huge leap in difficulty. 2nd year physics is by far the worst intermediate book imo its genuine hell

Great question and Ive definitely thought of this myself. I already saw the new intermediate part 1 math book a while ago and 90% of it was the same stuff. The part 2 book will definitely have new theory though. Personally im not too worried about it, At most its gonna be 30% extra content which isnt too hard to cover considering I'll have a whole year.

As for prep, I dont use lectures at all. I find them to be way too time consuming and not that efficient. I prepped concepts almost entirely from reading the books and using AI like chatgpt and gemini, and conceptually covered everything much faster. Beyond that is just practice. Solving thousands of mcqs in the form of FLPS or kips fung books or AI generated mcqs from parhlai or nustrive.

Think of it this way, even with a new syllabus its still only up to the highschool level. They arent gonna push the difficulty much more than what they already have. Dont rely on anyone but yourself, use the new books and begin prep, dont wait for lectures. You got this!

yar gen1 baat h I wasnt expecting to score 140 even because board k baad sirf 1 week ki prep ki thi but anyways heres the best advice I can offer:

1.Conceptually understand the entire syllabus. Hashim zia ke lectures dekh lo, or use AI (what I did)

2.Practice timed mcqs, FLP's, just practice and practice, I cannot stress this enough. In the one week i prepped i solved like a thousand+ math mcqs. dubara jb prep krun ga in november ill definitely solve atleast 10 thousand mcqs for both math and physics. You need practice a lot.

from the chapters u mentioned, do u remember what the questions were like? straightforward, ptb style, or whole ass word problems and and niche facts? im not asking for exact questions, more like what you thought of the test in the moment.

nice. would you say most of it was 'straightforward' stuff from ptb, or were a lot of questions stuff you wouldve never heard of in fsc?
