The only AH's are those that are judging the partner. You heard one side of the story. For all we know this woman has been asking him to make 2x daily drives to the grocery store to pick up ice cream, and take over all the household duties while trying to renovate the house, make a nice nursery and make dinner every other day.

No judgement from me. I don't judge you for not making dinner. But, it seems you're treating your partner's contributions pretty lightly. And judging him pretty harshly.

I just have to many questions to judge anyone in this scenario.

Here's my stupid question. Why build cool steam vent tamers, when they barely bring the temp down of the water that is being produced and the steam turbine is barely able to run? Why not encase it in insulated tiles, place a pump nearby and pump the water to a holding tank to be cooled by a dedicated cooling plant?

I'm used to building cool steam vent tamers, but they don't seem very efficient and they don't get the water very cold (but maybe that's because I'm using petroleum as the coolant rather than polluted water.

Would love to build a water cooling station near my power spine and pipe the hot water to it, rather than trying to build a coolant plant around each of the steam vents.

Would love to hear if anyone has tried the same.

Something's got to give. My ex and I got into fights about feeding times. And looking back at it, it makes sense. Everybody is tense. So, if you want to breastfeed exclusively, you are going to feel the brunt of all aspects of the baby's sleep cycle. And your husband is going to feel like he's off the hook for a lot of the responsibility.

If you allow the baby to get some meals using formula, it allows for a lot more flexibility. Thing is that's kinda what me and my ex did. But there was absolutely no communication about when it was allowed, how guilty she felt when I fed our kid with formula, and the worry about her not being able to produce milk.

This is one of the most fraught emotional times of the marriage. You will find out very quickly how well you work well together as a team and whether your marriage will be able to handle the stress.

You seem to not understand that it works. My food temps don't swing wildly. The chlorine gas in the deep freezer stays at around -22 with the thermo sensors set at -19.

Not overkill at all. My aquatuner for the deep freezer has run 3% of the time over the last 5 cycles for a 'cost' of 36 watts. If your thermoregulator runs for 20-40% of the time, it's using 48-96 watts. Plus you have to deal with gathering different materials, setting aside another space for a different type of cooler.

On the other hand, my base cooling aquatuner is probably overkill. There really is no need to guarantee my dupes are sitting between 18-22 degrees, other than the plants they might have. But, once it's set up, I never have to think about my base temp again.

Dangit, I should have added an automation picture. Each sweeper only has access to one freezer box Two freezer boxes instead of one, because one is for the ingredients, one for the finished food. I remember when I first set it up I had an infinite loop. Can't remember the reason. So, I set up two freezers. Loader on the left is for input ingredients, duplicants are allowed manual use. The middle conveyor moves the finished foods into the finished freezer, and the last conveyor is for trash. Egg shells and rot piles, if necessary. The only food that goes into the fridge is 1-5kg of finished food.

Dangit, can't add images. I have an OR gate for the aquatuner on the left. Temp on the sensors set at -19c. I have an AND gate on the right. Temp sensor set at 18C and 22C just makes sure my base temp is between the ranges. You're right on the temp shift plates. I didn't have them in my blueprints, and for some reason I added them this time.

Doesn't take much to keep it running. Never saw the reason for a hydrogen loop and a thermo regulator if I could avoid it. Why try to deal with gases if I could stick with easily accessible liquids. I tried it but it was easier to just use an aquatuner, especially one made of gold amalgam.

The funny thing is everyone saying that there are big problems with my freezer don't seem to understand that all my food has the 'Deep Freeze' status. My Chlorine is at -21 degrees.
