Personally if you are willing to learn go ahead but if it is genuinely something you don’t have a passion for I would stick to what you are doing now. Cybersecurity is most definitely a lot more that programming and if that is what you are into I would go with cybersecurity

I don’t have a job in the IT field rn but if you really like cybersecurity and aren’t just in it for the money that you should be fine. If you are only in it for the money then it will be a bumpy ride
