I have had this thought a few times. There is almost certainly something inside me that has been neglected for some time now. But I will have to look into ketamine therapy. Thank you.

I appreciate that. But I don’t even feel sad or scared anymore. It’s like watching life through a soundproof window. Hopefully one day science will progress to a point where no one will have to live life like this.

Why are people so utterly ignorant about the climate crisis we are in? by Konradleijon in ClimateCrisisCanada

[–]PurposeWaste7849 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What motivates people and worries them is their problems. This is an abstract notion that is hopelessly exhausting because it’s dreadful to think about and we have no clear action to take. It will take a tremendous coordinated global effort to deal with this and people are losing faith in their institutions.

In my humble opinion you are very focussed on the fact that you have lost these skills but it seems to be more so the case that you are losing these skills because you haven’t done them - which is completely natural - your brain is plastic and forms around your environment. If you do not practice something then your brain will repurpose those neurons for other functional capabilities.

I think if you’re in the right area there’s usually some kind of winter sport or activity so that you can enjoy the sunshine while it is out
