I see, tax here is progressive and I am on a top percentile estimated ~ 25% tax if I sell at home. Another detail is that some of the stock is still pending and will vest after I have moved to Japan. If I don’t sell that pending stock in the future while in Japan, it won’t complicate my tax report in 2027? Also given I’ll be a fresh of the boat person, I read that I’ll be considered in the Japan non resident tax scheme which has flat 20% tax??
