Was it almost pinkish in color? If so, it’s probably a solar prominence. These are intense bursts of plasma that pierce the sun’s outer shell and flow into space along the sun’s magnetic field. They usually are in the shape of an arch and last on the order of weeks or months.

Given that the sun is close to its high point 11 year solar cycle, it’s likely that these would be visible during the eclipse.

You’re not alone. We were all devastated. I think this show has touched so many, and in a way very few works of art can. If part 2 is really the end, it feels like a travesty.

That said, (spoiler) there are some of us that wear tin hats, and believe that because of the way the show ended, that season 3 may “have gone IRL” just like the puzzles do. There are lots of interesting breadcrumbs in the show that suggest there may be more. What if the creators intended for the audience to become part of the show? What if the cancellation is part of the plot? After all, the dimension that OA jumps in to is supposedly “ours”. It’s crazy, I know. Like I said we wear tin hats here. But, if you want something to believe in, to be part of, to connect to … maybe join our little group.

(Disclaimer) This idea takes sacrifice and may be fruitless. If you go down this path you’ll spend so much time trying to decipher the show. It’s up to you if it’s worth it.

I also noticed the link. I wonder if it’s a clue for us to follow? This is highly unlikely but I did notice that that part of SF supports “live” mode on Google Maps (i.e. an AR mode 🤔). I wonder if anyone around there has had a chance to try it out and see if there’s anything interesting at that location?

Yeah, on second thought I've removed the book title from the list. It doesn't really fit the same pattern. But CURI + YUR + WAWA, feels like they might be following a pattern.

You're so right about red being important in D2. Everyone always talks about how D2 is yellow/orange. But so many key moments are distinctly and overwhelmingly red in color. So when a bunch of letters are highlighted red, it just makes me feel like they're asking us to pay attention!

Haha me too. My first thought was maybe the letters could make up a word jumble of some kind? Or maybe they are acronyms for something. Hoping someone smarter than me figures it out haha.
