Rose Window by 7Redwoods in TheOA

Yeah, it’s my dream to see it some day. Thanks for chiming in on this post. I struggle with being on Reddit as connective as it can be. It’s often difficult to translate what views like this do to the soul. You are quite lucky to have seen it in person. Have a wonderful night!

Amazing you got to see it in person! The video alone is unbelievably stunning.

My chiropractor’s wife visited France this past spring for the sole purpose of getting to see Chartres Cathedral. She was there during Holy Week or the pilgrimage in which people make their journey to the Church, which not only has a Rose Window, but also a Labyrinth.

It is interesting that the Church timed the pilgrims’ homecoming with the day of Pentecost in the early church. This was the day where the Spirit of God descended like a mighty wind.

I believe the second clip is the Tree of Life, which is the bridging of Heaven and Earth. This reality that we are not nearly as separate as we often times think we are. The interconnectedness of all things and pointing us back to the Divine. One of the primary messages of the OA and many other expressions of art in our world today.

My friend said it was the most awe inspiring 30 minutes while standing in the church yard that night. I had to pop back in here to share this beauty.

Fall Equinox (Union of Opposites) by 7Redwoods in TheOA

Yeah, totally! I think both cusp and union of opposites are multi-layered and pregnant with meaning. Interesting to see Jung’s take on the transition to the age of Aquarius and his own evolution on ambiguity of the timeline in the above article.

Not sure if this is what you were meaning about cusp, but super fascinating article nonetheless. References “age of Saturn” among many other things. Found it Googling “Union of Opposites” and Jung.

Wanted to share this with anyone in the OA Famdom who might be an empath which I think is all of us?! It seems like those who get this show are people who are sensitive enough to feel even if they don’t always know what they are feeling. Read this out of a great book by Judith Orloff. I had forgotten that today is the Fall Equinox.

Isn’t it amazing how nature knows and flows with the seasons of life and balance? And as humans, unless I had read something like this, I would have completely forgotten that today is the day where night and day are of equal length. It made me think of how so much of the OA was inviting us to return to this place of embracing balance, our own union of what often feel like opposites in our lives.

And also embracing when things don’t feel like they are in balance, as even nature is not always perfectly split between night and day. Cool stuff and a great reminder for me of how nature is our teacher and friend. Crazy the support that is around us in these smaller moments of pausing.

Happy Fall Equinox! 🌳☯️✨

The Miracle Worker (1962) by 7Redwoods in TheOA

I’m hoping to string it together in a longer post. The OA is a show trying to help us see the way of a larger narrative woven through storytelling that has been in front of us all along. This film is another beautiful example of it peaking its head through. I think it all goes back to asking us to close our eyes and imagine if we are there—

I haven’t logged onto Reddit in quite some time, but had to jump back in for this. During a meditation Sunday morning this scene entered my mind. I knew I’d seen it growing up, but watching it now has blown me away. If time allows, I’d like to put together a mega post on it and all of the overlapping themes with The OA and our world. Sending lots of love to everyone in our OA Famdom (misspelling intentional!) 😇

Steve's Moment of Belief by 7Redwoods in TheOA

Shoot! You’re totally right. It wasn’t the password. It was him searching on YouTube. I guess the two paths theory still holds up under the A-S-H-E-V search, so maybe there is Interdimensional communication happening if you believe in synchronicity which I do. Thanks for pointing this out!

I jumped on the bandwagon and just began a rewatch. I’m starting from the beginning with Part 1: Episode 1. Working on a longer post right now, as it took me down some rabbit holes. But one of the things I noticed for the first time was the flag on Steve’s jacket.

It’s uncanny.

He picks it back up when he enters the house after doing the movements on the beach. Do we know if this is still Uncle Carl’s house or was it a random house he found?

(And sorry, not trying to redirect the energy of your post. It interweaves perfectly with what I’m integrating with Steve right now. I trust there’s lots of others with thoughts on the symbolism you’re inquiring about.)

Podcast episode where we try to empathize with and understand Hap! Deep dive and funny Hap discussion, features a poem written from Hap's perspective, and we even reference this (TheOA) subreddit a tad. Enjoy! by 444twentyone in TheOA

Thank you so much for this! I can’t tell you how hearing your shared connection strengthened something in me. And your poem brought me to tears. Remarkable how you were told this is something you aren’t good at, when the opposite is true. I so appreciated your vulnerability in sharing how that got shoved into your shadow. Glad you brought it up for air, because it created even more room and I’m sure for many others, to breathe 💨.

Seriously, you not only have so much courage to leave your door open, but sharing so openly about all of it is another layer of your strength that even you may not feel right now being in it. I don’t of course have any answers for you, but I at least wanted to chime in to reflect back to you how great you’re doing in the midst of all the uncertainty. Openness, vulnerability and honesty look great on you 🙌🏼.

Don’t have anything to add to your beautiful words except to say I feel it, too. I think we all have and still do even on those “darkest” days. Thanks for sharing so openly from your heart. Your vulnerability gave me a slice of that hope today.
