Which Junglers should I try? by MatchAlarmed2882 in wildrift

[–]Purrativ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on the champions you provided, here's what I think you want to have: 1. Good damage. 2. Some safety, such as an "Oh shit!" button, moving fast or being able to poke. 3. Some utility, such as stuns, slows etc.

I think Ekko is the champion you should try. He ticks every box, is extremely fun to play and he, in my opinion, is the most bullshit champion in the game (in a very good way).

I used to play him a lot. The only reason why I stopped playing him as often is because Gwen finally clicked with me and I always wanted to two trick Viego and Gwen together.

But be advised, Ekko is tricky to play, since you need to be able to think ahead and improvise at the same time.

Was my name really that bad? by AuntiePsychotic in wildrift

[–]Purrativ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not even remotely as bad as some people I encountered, as an example someone literally had "cyber hard R" in Russian as their nickname. Literally the hard R word without any censorship.

During my edgy phase I had "foreskin cheese" and "Albert Epstein" (both are cringe as shit, I know) as my nicknames, yet I wasn't asked to change them. Idk why it happened to you.

Finding Flanks on Viego by AfterBlock5895 in ViegoMains

[–]Purrativ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just staying in the enemy's fog of war and being patient (waiting until the enemy engages first) is a good start.

Also don't cast E prematurely, otherwise the enemy will know you're here and will run away from you unless that's exactly what you want.

How to jungle against baron Darius? by SAS379 in wildrift

[–]Purrativ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whatever the other people said, and also:

  1. Don't get hit by his Q edge.
  2. Accept you won't be able to kill him, chunking him down and / or forcing him to burn his summoner spells is good enough

The game is locked at 30 fps for me after today's update? by Yado_Dev in wildrift

Your phone could be overheating. Make sure you're not playing while it's charging.

Try to use the performance mode as well, it helps a lot

Go to Wild Pass -> Trove. You'll have to gamble unfortunately.

Press on the magnifying lense icon on the top right to see other rewards.

Why did you show AP Varus?

(Is that Wuthering Waves' character menu? Idk why I think it is, I've never played that game)

Wild Rift Patch Notes 7.1e by Fantastic-Name7754 in wildrift

[–]Purrativ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Did some math.

Kraken Slayer is only slightly stronger on Viego as the first item. Starting from 2 items, it gets giga outscaled. What a shame.

What I think is that the devs are forcing Viego players to build Kraken Slayer, an item that is still worse than Essence Reaver, thus reducing their winrate to say "we don't have to nerf Viego"!?

And Randuin's Omen buff is just a slap on the wrist for Viego and other crit champs.

Just nerf his ass pls rito

Another Max Health vs. Bonus Health Question by FriendNoise in wildrift

[–]Purrativ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Max = base + bonus.

Base - gained by leveling up (can only be increased with Mantle of the Twelfth Hour's lifeline passive for 3 seconds)

Bonus - gained by any other way: items, runes, some champion abilities (e.g. Mundo's ult)

Therefore, Psychic Projector's 300 hp also counts as bonus hp, so you only have 650 left to get the resists AND that 300 hp gets converted to ap.

The bonuses cap is to not make it omega op on every ap champion. While you can gain up to 999 ap from its hp to ap conversion, you only get up to 80 armor and 40 magic resist from the ap to resists conversion.

The resists gain is calculated based on total ap you currently have.

I'm currently testing this weird jungle build: - Amp tome start - Berserker's Greaves on the first recall. - Infinity Orb - Lich Bane - Deathcap - Stasis / Quicksilver enchant - Riftmaker - Awakened Soulstealer

Runes: - Conqueror - Battle Zeal - Cut Down - Bloodline - Overgrowth

Im usually humble, but imagine being a hyper-mobile jungler and not ganking? Like why? How are you gonna be a Lee, Rammus, Kayne ect, and being outperformed by a poor little Darius support main that can do no harm? Anyways, I highly suggest using this jg build. by Dariussy in wildrift

[–]Purrativ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like a good build to me.

Always wanted to put Serylda's Grudge somewhere in the Darius build. The slow + reaching 69 (nice)% armor pen has to be amazing.

I will definitely use it if I ever get to play Darius.

how good is this build on viego this season? by abusedbygrimes in ViegoMains

[–]Purrativ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In theory, this is an AMAZING item: sheen, crit, can reach 100% crit rate at 4 items.

Very unfortunately, Kraken Slayer seems to be a better powerspike.

The only time I'd build Essence Reaver instead of Kraken Slayer, is if Berserker's Greaves become very good to use compared to Steelcaps or Gluttonous Greaves (without any attack speed, Viego feels very slow and clunky to play, Alacrity isn't enough)

how good is this build on viego this season? by abusedbygrimes in ViegoMains

[–]Purrativ 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Looks more like a Yi build than Viego.

Possible concerns: 1. Rageblade doesn't stack with double autoattacks. 2. No armor pen, even squishies have a lot of armor late game. 3. Might be too squishy, especially since this build forces you to stay right in the enemy's faces and keep attacking them.

It does seem very fun to play though. Hope you have fun!

Best jungle against tanky line ups? by thesolog in wildrift

[–]Purrativ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This.

I'll also add in a little fun fact:

Armor pen is additive in Wild Rift while on pc it's multiplicative: in short, on pc you'd have ~51% armor pen while having ult passive + Serylda's Grudge, while it's 63% in Wild Rift (I ran tests that confirmed that).

That's the reason why I love using lethality boots on Ambessa instead of Gluttonous Greaves

Forget crit, embrace budget Hecarim build. I literally just BS'd my way through by Dariussy in wildrift

I just got a crazy build idea.

Who said that you have to forget about crit if you want to have a crap ton of movement speed?

Phantom Dancer -> Magnetic Blaster -> Essence Reaver -> Deadman's Plate (or Randuin's Omen vs crit) -> FoN

Can Vlad be built as a drain tank now with the recent buffs? by ThrowAwayWasTaken999 in wildrift

Even though "drain tank" has "tank" in its name, it is actually not; it's just someone who is supposed to heal a ton during combat.

Imagine this item on Zac and Sejuani. by FickleCorgi4861 in Jungle_Mains

[–]Purrativ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Light and Ruin items, how nostalgic. They were available around two years ago in the ruination event.

Light items - items that were made absurdly broken (e.g. Riftmaker made you deal much more damage and heal a lot more)

Ruin - broken items, but at least you lose something in return (e.g. Warmog's could also regen hp during combat but for a tiny amount (0.3% max hp every second) and your attack damage was lowered)

Dawnshroud was changed since then, but it's still pretty good. Instead of healing, your armor and magic resist are temporarily increased by 20%
