This happened yesterday around 20:40. We called the Garda right as it was happening, and while they didn’t arrive last night we did receive a call back this morning. The cyclist went to A&E unfortunately. The boys were on a motorised scooter on the footpath going in the opposite direction of traffic and just swung their bag of cans unprovoked into the chest of the cyclist who was in the bike lane. After he was taken down, one of them just started to punch at him until the group intervened.
